Chapter 7

AALIYA'S POV

I twirled in the chair as I watched Jamie twirling in her dress. We had picked her out a black dress that hugged her body, showing her perfect shaped figure. The three of us and Isha had arrived at Johnny's house earlier to help him out for the party. Once we had put all the snacks, drinks, chairs, tables etc out, us girls invaded Johnny's room to get changed. Although he is the birthday boy we are his guests. I know we are cheeky.

"I am so tired. I don't think I have the energy to stand for a whole party." Isha spoke as she flopped on the bed.

"Me too!" Kat replied as she too joined Isha.

"You didn't do anything! You were just eating all the snacks." Jamie announced.

"Aw, I can't believe you said that!" Kat gasped. "It takes so much energy to pick up the lollies, unwrap it and putting it in your mouth."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Jamie said as she rolled her eyes.

"I'm going to go get changed." Isha spoke as she got up.

"If we get changed in exactly 48.5 minutes, we'll have 1.5 minutes spare to check everything" Isha spoke as she checked her clock.

"Isha, your such a nerd." I giggled.

"What, I just want everything perfect. Is that a lot to ask for?" she defended herself.

"I didn't say it was a bad thing. We need someone to keep us in order." I chuckled as I pointed at Jamie, Kat and I.

"Yep, that's true." Jamie laughed as Isha chuckled.

"Ok, now Kat, get up!" Isha announced as she pushed Kat of the bed.

"Isha!" Kat whined.

"Isha's right. Johnny will get angry if we don't return his room to him so that he can get changed." I explained.

Jamie, who had already gotten into her dress and started her makeup, sighed in agreement.

*******45 minutes later********

The four of us looked at each other. We were all done. Dress, makeup, shoes and hair were all done.

I was wearing a strapless black and blue dress. It flowed out at the end reaching mid-thigh. I paired it with blue pumps and curled my hair in loose curls leaving my hair down.

Kat was wearing a bright red dress that also reached mid-thigh. The dress resembled her personality. Fun, bright and bubbly. She tied her back in a straight ponytail with small flicks at the end and matched the dress with nude pumps.

Isha was wearing a blue, creamy dress that had a brown belt around her waist. She paired it with cream wedges. Isha straightened her hair, leaving it down with small flicks at the bottom.

Finally Jamie was wearing a tight black dress that showed her perfect figure also reaching mid-thigh. She wore deep red pumps with her dress. Jamie styled her hair by straightening her hair dead straight and tying it up in a sleek ponytail.

"I think we're ready!" Kat said as she jumped up and down.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so nervous." Jamie spoke.
