Sanai Brown absolutely loved college, she loved it for the academic and social parts, but she mainly loved it for the freedom it granted her as well, it was why she'd worked so hard through her middle and high school years to get amazing grades and a free academics scholarship.

She'd been attending Spellman University for the last six months and being away from home was like heaven for her, no being forced to go to church and sing for disrespectful old people, no hovering parent and nosy grown women , no invasion of privacy from said women, talking about her body and no one telling her that her voice would be used for evil if she ever got famous just because she sung along to a song. All of those reasons were mostly because of her mother and her mother's friends, the overbearing woman whom she absolutely loved to death but hated being around most times.

After leaving home and living on campus she'd learned a lot about herself spiritually and mentally, she learned exactly how she wanted to live and the future she saw for herself.

She even met two of her best friends while being in college both aspiring to be just like her, artist in the music industry.

There was Fiea Salinas a Mexican - Puerto Rican girl her age with alluring visuals and an equally amazing voice. Then Halo Porter, a beautiful rapper from the southside of Atlanta and one of Sanai's closest childhood friend who'd moved away in the sixth grade after her parents separated.

Their trio had gotten popular in school and around the downtown area because the three girls often posted on their socials together making silly songs and doing covers, as well as singing in local karaoke bars on the weekends.

To be honest whenever they had free time the trio were some where probably making music together, they all enjoyed their hobbies and having fun with it, it was one of the hundreds of things that brought them close together in the first place and to say sanai was sad to go home even if it was only for a short time was an understatement, especially with the news she had to lay out to her family.
