My Reasons

chapter one

Welcome to hell, the world I am living in, where people tell you nothing but lies. My names Ashley Perseus and you guessed it, I am depressed as shit but my family tells me different, they tell me I am just being over dramatic but they are not the ones feeling what I feel. I have even gone to the doctors as well and they all say I have it so my family is talking out their ass.

"What's wrong Ash, you look like you have a lot on your mind?" Kayden asked. Kayden is one of my best friends, we have known each other since we were little kids and is one of the only people whom belive me, mostly because he goes with me to the doctors. Only after I said the doctor was looking at me funny, he didn't want me to get hurt, unlike everyone else who didn't care what I did.

"Yeah I'm fine, I just told my family that I was going to kill myself after school and they said "fine." It just shows how much they don't care about me." I said starting to cry. Kayden moved closer to me, put his arm around me and pulled me in for a hug. I started blushing because of how close he was too me.

"Aww, now isn't that just the cattiest thing you've ever seen?" Sophia said walking up to us with an evil smirk on her dumbass face. She's such a bitch; I swear that bitch is the devils daughter, she's always bullying me and she beats the shit out of me but I don't really care much about that so I haven't told anyone about it; Kayden has a huge crush on her, why? I have no idea.

"Hey Sophia, how's your day been?" Kayden asked her as a light pink blush crept across his face.

"My day has been boring so far, but it just got a lot better seeing you here." She said winking an eye at him. I made a gaging noise too shut her up, like eww, that slut is using my friend; I swear if she hurts him I'm going to beat the shit out of her. "And what's your problem!" She said with a sneer

"Oh nothing, just gagging at the bullshit you're speaking you slut." I smiled at her.

The whole school was looking at us by now. Sophia was looking around at the other students while I couldn't care less what people were saying about me, they what they want to me anyway.

"Hahaha, I'm not a slut." She said with a smile. she leaned down and got close to my face. "No matter what you do to trand prove it, I will have the entire school on my side and you will have no one." Said whispering in my ear as she walked away from us.

"Wow, isn't she just amazing." Kayden said all lovey-dovey like. I rolled my eyes, stood up and walk away from he's embarrassingass.

The rest of the day was boring, nothing really happened except for our stupid classes with our stupid teachers. The end of school was like the gates of heaven opened for me, but as soon as I got home, they closed and all that was left was hell fire. I was sitting in my room listening to music when my sister walked in to talk to me.

"Hey sis." Amber said

"What do you want brat?" I asked her. Amber is one year older than I am; she is the oldest and thinks she owns everyone but no one ever listens to her expect for mum and dad.

"I'm not a fucking brat so stop calling me that!" she yelled.

"Your right slut suites you so much better." I say smiling at her.

"I'm not a slut either!" she yelled at me again. You know she says she is not a slut but she has slept with almost every single guy in the school.

"Whatever, what do you want?" I asked her.

"I just wanted to let you know that my boyfriend is coming over tonight an-" I cut her off.

"And you want us to leave so you can bang him, am I right?" I finished for her.

"Yes, that's what I want. Now start packing, he's going to be here in a few minutes."

"Sure, now get out of my room!" I yelled at her.

"Ok, jezz, you don't have to yell at me! God!" she yelled as she slammed my door shut.

I packed everything I needed and headed to Kayden's house; I always go to Kayden's house when my sister brings one of her boy-toys over so we could talk shit about them.

I knocked on his door and his mum opened the door and welcomed me in, then I went up to Kayden's room to find him. When I got to his room, I knocked on the door four times before he answered. He looked like at me with that teenage boy look, as if he just got off a porn website. When he saw me he relaxed, he smiled and then looked down at my packed bags and said.

"She's got another doesn't she?" I nodded my head in embarrassment; I mean I care about her about her but sooner or later she's going to get pregnant and no one will be there to help her.

"Well come in then, I'll go put a movie on." He says as I go and sit on his bed.

"That would be amazing, thank you." I said as Kayden was going through all the movies he has.

"What movie are in the mood for?" Kayden asked looking at his horror movies.

"Anything with a happy ending." I say with a fake smile. Kayden smiled back at me not realising what I meant, sometimes I wish that I had a friend that fully understands me, don't get me wrong I love being Kayden's friend but he doesn't understand me when I make a suggestions on a happy endings.

"How 'bout a Disney movie? There always good." He asked smiling at me.

"Yeah, sure why not." I answered. He put on Frozen 2 and we sat there on his bed watching that for the rest of the night until I fell asleep.

I woke up in Kayden's bed feeling like absolute shit, my neck was cramped, and I had a shit headache. It's as if I was wasted. Not that I have ever been wasted before. I sat up to see Kayden laying next to me sleeping. God he looked peaceful. Too peaceful sometimes.
