i. PLAY NICE. you're all on common ground in this application, and i want you to be nice to one another. actually, it's expected. i don't care how angry you are that your oc hasn't been chosen or how much you hate a character. password one is which dreamsmp arc was your favorite. i will dropkick you to the moon if you don't leave other oc's alone.
ii. DIVERSITY. i'm tired of skinny mary sue cishet neurotypical girls, PLEASE give me diversity. give me plus size, give me selective mute, give me desi girls, give me amputees. i want something interesting to write about, and if you give me some kind of model citizen who is the beauty standard and is loved by everyone in existence ever - chances are, your character will not be chosen.
iii. I AM HUMAN.say it with me, everyone - i am human. i am a neurodiverse teenager in an ib school, who is currently doing third semester finals. password two is sharing this to your message board give me clout lol. i will not be able to update at certain times, though i will try my best - and if i genuinely am too burnt out to continue my book, i will let you know, and possibly pass the plot onto someone else.
iv. DETAILS.please, i'm on my knees - give me details. i really, really don't want to butcher your characters' personalities, especially when they're described as complex. make them a psychopath, give them a 'god complex', make them sell footpics on the side for extra cash - I DON'T CARE, just make their descriptions detailed. it will never be an inconvenience to me, because i will read every single comment i get.
v. GHOST READERS. please, PLEASE don't be a ghost reader, especially if your character is chosen. i'm begging. i read and reply to as many comments as i can, and live for your incredibly funny reactions to what i've written. if your character is chosen, please give me criticism on how i portray them, as i want to make them as accurate as possible.
