It was another normal day.
Kai spent the night and is planning to for the next couple months,Until he finds a new apartment and settles in.
We were all at the kitchen table, Except for Alejandro,Eating breakfast.I already had his plate ready at his seat,so all he needs to do is come down
I was pouring Alessia a drink until we here footsteps come down the hall.
Alejandro walked threw the door,Blank faced.
Me: hey,good morning!
Alejandro: Morning.
He walked passed And went strait to Alessia.
Alejandro: how's my girl?!
He says kissing her cheek.
Alessia: Good.
Me: No hug or kiss for me.
He ignored my question and just sat down.
me: Ok...

We were all in the middle of eating breakfast.
It was quiet,and awkward.
Alejandro was silent and I could tell Kairi didn't wanna say anything to piss him off.
We were silently eating,until Alejandro finally decides to speak up.
Alejandro: so what happened last night...as I was passed out?
Kairi: mattia left and we took you to bed...
Alejandro: really...what else?
Kairi: nothing...
Alejandro: really Marie?
Me: Ya...
Alejandro: oh...well that's night what the security camera showed me.
Kairi: what?
Alejandro pulls out his phone and shows Kairi the video of me and Mattia from last night...of us kissing and me saying I love him.
"Fuck" I thought.
Kairi: You kissed Mattia?
Me: well...he kissed me...
Alejandro: You gotta be fucking kidding me...You kissed him back,And YOU said you loved him.
me: I-Alejandro can we not do this in front of the kids.
Alejandro: No,You say you love me but say the same thing to him...
Me: what do you expect?! He was my first love and I never planned on moving on...
Alejandro: so I was just your distraction from him...
Me: No...I just needed someone...A friend...and that's all I needed from you...to be there.But then I fell in love with you and we got married and had a daughter and I wouldn't take any of those things back..but what i didn't realize then...is that my love for Mattia will always be stronger....
I could see the pain in Alejandros eyes.Almost as if a price of him was gone.
Alejandro: I-i gotta go...
He quickly got up and walked towards the front door.
Me: Alejandro wait-
Kairi: Marie,just let him go...Your just hurting him and yourself by staying.
