'Sigh... If I have enough money at the moment, maybe I don't have to be here at this subway,' Jisoo thought. The incident on the day she moved out of her previous rental house is still playing in her mind.

[Flashback]

"I don't care!! just get out or I might have to call the security guards to get you out from here." The landlady snaps, panting. "Don't make me angry, Jisoo.." The landlady said as she massages her head lightly.

Jisoo was on her knees in front of the landlady. Just like how she thought, this will happen. She doesn't want to do this; begging to have more time to stay, but she had no other choice. This is all that she could think of to stay. "Please give me some more time, ajumma..." Jisoo cries. "I, I promise I'll pay for the rent later. Please... please give me more time.. I don't have any other place to stay..." Jisoo pleaded.

The landlady let out a heavy sigh and spoke, "I'm sorry Jisoo, but it's a definite no. I did remind you about the rental payment and you broke the contract's rules. Now, I'll give you 3 days to pack up and move." The landlady said firmly. Looks like she has given up on Jisoo's broken promises.

Hearing the landlady's solemn decision, Jisoo started to break into tears. But she holds it in, doesn't want to trouble the landlady further. "Ah... I understand." Jisoo stands up, dusting off her cloth. "I'm sorry for troubling you, ajumma." She adds, a bitter smile plastered on her face.

Of course, the landlady feels bad for Jisoo, but that's her job and she's just following the rules as a landlady. "I'm sorry. I know this is unfair for you but I can do nothing." She said while hugging Jisoo tight. "You know how's my husband, right?" She paused, waiting for Jisoo's response. "He would get mad whenever things don't go his way." The landlady continues after gets a nod from Jisoo.

Jisoo smiled as she gazes into the landlady's eyes. "It's okay, ajumma. I understand. I just... Feeling a bit emotional. I'm sorry, ajumma. I promise I'll move out tomorrow." Jisoo said.

The landlady just smiles bitterly. She pats Jisoo's back and looks at the girl sweetly.

"You're already like a daughter to me, Soo. I will always remember you." The landlady said with a soft tone in her voice.

[End of flashback]

And yes, Jisoo moved out of the rent house. She's at a bus station in Seoul at the moment, waiting for a bus to go somewhere nearby to search for a shelter, so at least she could have a stay for a night.

She has been thinking to move to her hometown, but sadly, no one is there. She does have relatives but they all are not in Korea. Plus, she lost her parents at such a young age in a car accident. It was her luck to survive the car accident. She also has a big brother and she acknowledges that, but her brother is nowhere to be found after the tragic accident, so she claims that her brother also died in the incident.

It's night with the breezy wind blowing, makes Jisoo trembles in cold. She has a shirt with a cardigan on and long pants covering her legs, but still, she can feel the cold at night.

She sighs. "Why did I survive in the first place though..." She said as she leans against the wall. Jisoo is feeling sad and down these days. Maybe because she has been very unlucky these days, which upsets her so much. "It's great that you survived in the incident until now, you know?" A voice said.

Jisoo heard the voice and nods,  agreeing with the stranger.

Stranger?-

Jisoo turns to her right, just to find a guy was sitting next to her. He was wearing a black mask with a soft pink hoodie covering his body. Since he's wearing a mask, Jisoo couldn't analyse his face. Plus, the fact that his voice is quite familiar to her.
