Falling In Love In The Mosh Pit

Chapter 1

(Picture is Lacey) I'm really bored so I'm writing a first chapter to this and if people actually like the first few chapters I'll continue the story but if not I'll just take it down... So let me know what you think :)

"Honestly It's too early to be awake, is six am really worth it for some tour?" I questioned throwing clothes back into my suitcase not bothering to fold them.

"You've never been on tour how would you know if six am is worth it or not? Nobody wants to deal with you and your I don't give a fuck about anything attitude this early in the morning, so deal with it or we can find a new vocalist." River stopped packing his suitcase and snapped at me. I bit my tongue, trying not to lash out with a witty comment, mostly because it was too early and I wasn't at my A game yet. Best I would be able to come up with this early would only be a slightly snotty remark and maybe a really exaggerated eye roll.

"Go ahead River find a new vocalist for my band the day before Warped Tour starts, I dare you." I practically hissed at him putting emphasis on the word 'my'.

"You both need to stop arguing, we haven't even got on the tour bus yet and you're already trying to rip each others heads off. Lacey just because you dyed your hair and pierced your nose doesn't mean you're this new punk girl you're just hyped up on teenage angst so take it down a notch and River stop antagonizing her you two are supposed to be best friends." Adam said stepping between the sharp glares we were sending each other.

"You don't see me getting all up on Adam or you or even River because it's early and I think I'm cool because my nose is pierced, now do you? I really miss when we could all just get along." Remi said forcing her suitcase closed.

"Lacey the only reason your mom is letting you go is because she thinks that a summer doing what you love will cheer you up and possibly get rid of that obnoxious attitude you've obtained so if you ever want to tour again, start by smiling." Adam stated, and he was right ever since I moved to Texas I had changed. I cut my long, dark hair short and dyed it blue but not before stabbing a needle through my nose, I locked myself in my room for two weeks before I decided I couldn't stay in there forever and I just had to live in Texas until I graduated at the end of the upcoming school year. I met River one day at a record store and he introduced me to his sister Remi and her boyfriend Adam. We were messing around one day with instruments and decided fuck it this sounds good lets make a band and here we are. But something you should know about Adam is he's almost always right so you shouldn't even bother arguing.

"Can we just go? Please. We have to get on a tour bus by seven." I rolled my eyes. I walked out of the room rolling my suitcases behind me and if they're following me great, if not they can find their own tour bus but I really don't give a shit.

"Lacey please cheer up we are going on our first real tour as a band, not just some crappy bar that lets us play and sneaks us free drinks even though we're underage." Remi said giving my shoulder a light squeeze before speeding up her pace to fall in step with Adam. I slowed down until I was walking beside River and gave him a slight smile.

"I can't be mad at one of my best friends when we are about to go on Warped Tour to play for hundred of people a day for two whole months, but please for the love of god Lacey don't screw this up for us." River said I leaned into him as we walked so he put his arm around my shoulders.

"Hi everyone it's Lacey and I'm here with the rest of 'That Being Said' we are currently leaving the hotel we stayed at last night and walking downstairs to pick a tour bus for our first ever Warped Tour which is also our first tour. I hope to see you at a show soon we will have merch for sale everyday of the tour and we have a few surprises in store for you. So watch my vlogs and catch all the action happening along the entire tour. With That Being Said, I hope to see you soon' I stopped recording knowing I was going to have to update that as soon as possible to spread the word one last time that we would be on Warped Tour all summer long.

"I still can't believe you end your vlogs with the bands name. Its so cheesy even for you!" River cracked a smile and this is what I love about our friendship one minute we want to punch and kick each other and the next we are making fun of each other.

"Honestly I don't care what tour bus we're on so get on this one!" Remi said as she mounted the stairs onto the first bus she saw.

"Can she even do that?" River asked eyeing the bus curiously.

"I guess she can and she just did." Adam said following her up onto the bus. I looked at River shrugging my shoulders and following him onto the bus as well.

"I'm so sorry I'm late because I had to meet you here but I have all the merch with me so we are good to go!" Luna said climbing aboard the bus with Andrew who we met yesterday he's our "tour manager", Luna is our not so musically gifted friend so she sells merch for us.

"Well welcome to your home for the next two months." Andrew said signaling around the bus. It had nine bunks and we were only six people so we had a ton of extra room, there was a TV in the lounge area and a little kitchen area. The bus even had air conditioning, oh yeah I could definitely get used to this.

"I call a middle bunk but if any of you kick me climbing to the top bunk, you're in for it!" I said claiming a bunk on my left. Everyone else claimed bunks but after that I fell asleep for a few more hours before I had to be up.
