The boy led me in an old abandoned building in the outskirts of town.

This looks like a good place for people who wants me dead.

This is the only building outside of town and since it's far from the main entrance they're no people passing by. It has three floors but the last floor doesn't have a roof, weird. But since it's an abandoned building I shouldn't be surprised, stupid me!

"T-This is the place" Giny said with a trembling voice.

I kneel down then looked at his eyes, he looked at mine then he averted his gaze away.

"Gin, don't be afraid nothing is gonna happen to you when you're with me... And nothing is going to happen to your sister too" I assured him trying to make my voice softer and warmer but to my disappointment it's still cold as ice.

He nodded so I standed up took his hands and entered the building.

I roamed my eyes to my soroundings it's dark so I cast a magic spell on my hand to make light.

The room became clearer, I roamed my eyes again if there's anyone watching us, and when there's no one I looked at Gin if he's surprise when I casted a spell.

His expression didn't change, he's not surprised at all. I don't want to be a show off but kids his age are supposed to be surprised because of magic but no he's not surprised at all. Is it because of fear covering his whole expression or he's just used on seeing magic? Whatever.

I remembered again the face of the fat vendor in the market when he saw the pouch, is he dumb? Magic is everything in this kingdom and it looked like its his first time seeing it, how dumb! This kid beats him!

"U-Up there" said Gin pointing at the stairs in front of us.

I nod then made a 'shush' sign then we started walking up stairs quietly.

While we're walking Gin had let go of my hand quickly which made me worry.

I looked behind me and saw Gin covering his own mouth and he looks like he's gonna cry.

Then seconds later tears began coming out of his eyes down to his cheeks.

What happened? I made a worry look although only a bit but he seemed to notice it then he pointed his other hand down.

I look down then saw Gin's feet pierced by a nail, I quickly took a tear of Gin then placed it on his pierced feet.

This is gonna hurt, sorry Gin.

I slowly let out the nail covered in blood.

"GAH!" Gin screamed which echoed the whole building, crap.

I quickly casted a healing spell using the tear that I placed earlier and the tear glowed.

Gin's wound slowly healed until it looked like it was never there in the first placed.

DUG! DUG! DUG! DUG! DUG!

We heard footsteps upstairs so I quickly held Gin in my arms like a bridal position and I caught a glimpse of Gin blushing.

Even if Gin's feet are all healed the pain is still there which will only disappear in a minute or more and I can't waste that much time we might be caught so I lift him up instead.

I hurriedly went upstairs then placed Gin on the side of the stairs.

I can hear footsteps coming closer, I casted a spell that would make Gin invisible so that they can't see him.

I kneel down to Gin and whispers to him.

"Gin stay here and wait for me, okay? Don't move a muscle, if you have one" I giggled.
