Melissa
Allthough it was way past midnight, I wasn't able to find any sleep, the last hours had been far too exciting.
Come to think of it, so had been the last days, weeks and months,....not just the last few hours.
Rolling over on my side, I let my head rest on my left hand, while my right hovered only inches above her soft, silky skin.
Instead of laying awake and staring into the night,....I had something way better to stare at.........someone way better....I smiled to myself....and smiled at her.
The beautiful woman right next to me, who managed to change my way of thinking and my whole life for that matter, in just a couple of months.
She caused me to have feelings I've never had before and never thought I would have,...not in a million years.Buuuut........here we were, laying side by side, with the moonlight setting my sweet aglow, as I watched her chest calmly sink and rise.
Sleeping so peacefully, one of her hands placed firmly on my hip as if to make sure, even during her slumber....that I was right there....where I was supposed to be.
Never in my wildest dreams, could I have imagined, ever feeling the way I was feeling right now.
The mere thought of loosing her, felt like a cold fist gripping my heart and immediately sending tears to my eyes.
And allthough I didn't want to wake her, I just couldn't help myself.....I had to feel her, feel more of her....and so I leant over her and placed my lips gently on hers. She sighed softly, blinked a few times and finally opened her eyes lazily.
"Heyyyy...darling....why are you crying..?"
I shrugged my shoulders and smiled at her..
"Don't worry honey, I'm just so happy and overwhelmed,.........finding you,......you loving me....and everything finally turning out so magically.......I guess I got a little bit carried away....that's all....but....!"
That was as far as I got to say what I wanted to say, before her strong arms pulled me in close to her, embraced me and sealed my mouth with a long, sweet kiss.
I loved the way she made me shut up.....each and everytime, for the last couple of months and hopefully many, many times more in the future.
