3. Green heaven

I hadn't seen my friend and former lover, Melissa for quite some time now and I was getting really excited upon meeting up with her.
She often told me, that I was the only ex-girlfriend of her's, that she was still befriended with....and I had to admit, that this made me feel kind of flattered.
Melissa and I had a very brief, but nonetheless passion filled affair....yes indeed.... and the mere thought of those memories, made my skin tingle....but only just for a moment.
When we broke up, because it quickly got clear to us that we weren't the perfect match, we also noticed that we liked each other to much though,...than to completly go separate ways.
We found out, that we could still stay friends, and as such a friend I decided to take it upon myself, to lead my friend on the right path........either that,..or at least give her huge ego a kick in it's ass.

I saw her rushing towards me, on heels so high, they made me feel nauseous......ah yes the length's, short people go to.....I grinned to myself, as I watched her approach.

Melly was hot.....well actually red-hot... Chestnut-red to be precise.
All smiles, she threw her arms around my neck and gave me a heart-felt hug.
"Hey Sarah,....you're looking great, how are you?"
"I'm doing great...!" I replied...
"....but you look like you could use some sun. Do you ever leave your office dear?"

She started laughing out loud, as she whipped back her long, red curly hair and winked at me with her fascinatingly green eyes..
"SarahDarling you know we redheads don't really tan,.....we burn....with....!"
"Ok...ok...I got it......geez Melly,...we're in public."

She really had a knack for getting me into embarrassing situations.......so it was high time to get out of harm's way and onto what I actually had planned for her.
Quickly I took hold of her hand and we made our way toward the lovely little piece of heaven, that I had recently found.

"Soooo.....what does this little green wonder hold in store for us my dear?"she curiously picked up on the conversation we had earlier.
Ooook....and so it was time to spill the beans and let her have it.

"Weeeell,....Melly....you know my feelings and thoughts about your...uuhm.....frequent girlfriend-exchange right....?" Melly stopped dead right in her tracks and glared dangerously at me with her green eyes, just about to protest heavily,....but I wasn't going to give her that chance.

"Please..... let me finish ....please. You know, I'm sure somewhere deep inside of you, underneath that superficial surface , even your great Don JuanEgo......is looking for a safe haven. Allthough you wouldn't admit to that, even undergoing the greatest torture... I know that.......!"

We continued on our way and I felt my friend relax a bit........I grinned knowingly to myself.

"So now what....are you going to try to hook me up with someone? Oh Sarah pleaseee....you know, I've never had any problems in that department. I find,...I approach, I conquer.....always."
"Oh for Pete's sake ....Melly...!"

The smug arrogance in her voice, started making me mad.

"That's exactly what I mean, conquests....that's all they are to you....but one day you will find out, that your so called conquests will vanish and leave you with nothing, but emptiness!"
"Well....did you ever come to think of it, that I juuuust might like it like that,....ooor are you a wee bit jealous because I'm able to work my charms on any woman...?"

"Are you serious.....!" I growled at her, trying my hardest not to raise my voice

"Please get over your self, I mean....yes you are a really great woman.....!"
"Don't forget hot....!"
I sighed, rolling my eyes...
".....yes...that to....but even you can't have them all."
"Oh really....?"she asked with amazement
"Yes really!!!"

Melissa gently squeezed my Arm...

"Heyyyyyyy.....SarahSweety........that jealous part....I didn't really mean that ok....? Don't be mad.....pleeeeze!"

She already knew that I couldn't, so I sighed my defeat,...but I still had an ace up my sleeve....so I gave her a taste of her own medicine and smiled smugly at her...

"I'm not mad at you Melly, but I have a challenge for you...!"
"Ohhh...do you now....? Pease...tell me more!"

We finally arrived at our destination and I paused with the door handle right infront of me.

"Your challenge, which you will fail poorly, awaits you, on the other side of this door.....!
But to show you how kind hearted I am, I'll give you one month....to make your "conquest"...."
"A whole month???!!!!! Melissa laughed out loudly
"Now what leads you to believe, that I might need this much time...huh? Is she straight??
More of a challenge, but nonetheless definetly doable."
"Well I don't know if she is, or if she's not, but you said it,....that you can have them all.....so that shouldn't be a problem for you right..?"

"Ohhh..ok.... but you're right, even if she were straight, that would absolutely be no problem at all. Like a wise woman once said......
"There's a bit of gay, in every gal...!"

"Yeah right,....and what wise woman said that?"
"Me...!!" she replied grinning from ear to ear...
"I should have known....!!" I sighed

"So tell me, my friend....what is my reward when I win..?"

Ohhhh my personal reward would be to see the look on her face in a couple of minutes...I thought to myself......I smiled at her innocently.

"If by any chance you should win, which I highly doubt,....I will never, ever loose one more word about your....eroticEscapades.......buuuuut that will not happen and so I can kick back and watch your oversized ego finally getting what it deserves!!"

Melly chuckled and poked her finger in my side....
"You sure have some funny ideas sometimes. Now let's go, I'm curious to see who you picked out. I'm hoping this green heaven is holding a yummy Eve and not a rotten apple in store for me......just saying..."

I sighed shaking my head....

"Yeah....come on let's go inside...!"

She smiled as confident, as always, as we entered "Gretha's green heaven ".....but I was damn sure that, that smile wouldn't last for very long.
