I quickly walked to Cassies room to let her know her father was here. After i went into the guest room to find something to wear. I turned to NY1 to check the weather, it was 78 degrees . It was awfully nice out for a September morning. I pulled out a pair of jean shorts and an oversized pink barbie sweater and my timbs i wore yesterday. I got some navy blue thigh highs from the bottom draw, my under clothes, towel, robe and proceeded to take a shower.

After i took a shower, i moisturized my body than got dressed. I threw a beanie on my head and added some accessories. I put on some gloss and was ready to go. I put some work out clothes in a seperate bag than went to check on every one else.

"Where are the rest of your pants"

"Its almost eighty degrees out unc"

"And what does that mean, yall go to school ass naked"

"My shorts not that bad"

"Oh hell no, im taking a picture and sending it to your pops"

"Well if your gonna send him a shot, let me pose first"

I held up peace signs and blew a kiss and i lifted my shirt for the second one

"You are truly your mothers child"

"I know right" i replied while taking a seat across from Ice who looked spooked

" you good ice"

"Yeah im cool"

"You look like you saw a ghost"

He looked at unc

"Nah im good"

"Where is Cassie"

"In her room finding something else to wear."

"What was wrong with what she had on"

"It was too damn little, came out here wearing a toddlers shirt and skirt set"

"It probably wasnt that bad"

"Nah, i see im going to have to come over more often"

He looked directly at Ice.

Just than Cass came out her room in a long black t-shirt that stopped mid thigh, she had half the shirt tucked into jean shorts, black tights a black beanie and platform sneakers.

"What the fuck you got on now"

"What, you didnt like what i had on so i changed. Im not changing again im going to be late for school"

"You spend all of my money, you mean to tell me your going to go to school dressed like a hobo"

"Its called swagg daddy"

"Aint no damn swagg, i dont see no one elses kid in New York dressed like that"

"We set trends" i chimed in

"Everyone will be dressing like this by the end of the school year" she said

"Take a pic"she handed me her phone, i snapped a shot.

"Untuck your shirt" she did, i snapped a few more

"Cass. On. Fleek" i showed them to her

"Look daddy i look cute"

"Because your beautiful baby you would make a trash bag look like the latest fashion statement "

"I so would"

"We know" we said in unison

"Iight yall ready to go"

"Yeah let me just grab my bag and my jean jacket"

"Yall have a good day at school" uncle saint said handing us both a hundred dollar bill

"And Ice"

He pulled ice to the side

" i pay you to keep an eye on my daughter and thats what i expect you to do . but it seems as  if thats a little to much for you. So i want you to meet me at the warehouse after school"

"Yes sir"

I looked at Cassie i knew we were both thinking the same thing. She walked over to them.

"Daddy your staying here?"

"Yeah, i had to get away from ya mother. She's driving me crazy"

"Whats new"

"Watch it, i love that woman some time's i just need my space."

"Well you guys have been together for over twenty years, so your bound to get on each others nerves"i chimed in

There was a knock on the door. I walked down the hall and i looked through the peep hole . I opened the door for Major.

"You ready to roll"

"Yeah im ready"

"Cass lets go, bye unk"

"iight yall be safe love yall"

"Love you too"

"Lock the door dad, my keys is at the bottom of my bag"

"Ight"

My uncle stood at the door until the elevator came. When the elevator doors closed cassie and i sighed.

"Bae im driving my car k."

"Iight bae, love you"

"Love you too

I know Maj wanted me to ride with him. Instead i got in the passenger seat of Cassies car. Im no fool i know my uncle will be watching from the window and will follow the car until it out of his sight.

"So you think your dad know about you and Ice?"

"Yup"

"Damn i hope he dont kill the homie"

"No he's not"

"What do you mean he's not. You know how your father is"

"I know"

" Cass he dont play when it comes to his workers and he damn sure dont play when it comes to you"

"I know"

"Your his oldest but your his baby girl he dont even want you talking to  guys he will kill a nigga for speaking out of turn with you"

"I know!"

"Well damn im just saying"

"Im going to that warehouse tonight"

"What"

"Im going to follow ice, im not letting daddy hurt my boyfriend."

"Did you just here what you said, we are talking about Saint Carter here"

"I know, i love him though trini"

"Well i guess im going with you"

"No your not coming"

"Nah shorty im coming with you, gotta make sure you straight"

"Ok"

"Ok, thats all you gonna say to me. Im about to risk my life for your boyfriend, and your going to let me"

"We are simply going to our daddies business and asking them not to kill my boyfriend because i love him."
