A Tangled Situation

Punzie P.O.V

The sound of a crash came from the upstairs window, mother, father, and I all went to see what could've happened.

Strange... No ones out there. But, the window's shattered. Great, another boy obsessed with me. How annoying.

That's when I realized it.
Elsa.
She must be here for Jack!

In a frenzy I rushed down stairs and saw a figure run out the door. Then Jack stood there in daze.

I stood there by the stairs and called out, "Jack?" I called and called but he wouldn't respond. Then suddenly he turned around, glared and flew away. "J-Jack!!" I screamed and ran after him. Only to be stopped by the same man who stopped me in the woods the first time, Pitch.

"I trusted you, but I guess you just couldn't handle this big of task." He said looked down at the ground and smirked wickedly.

I stepped toward him, "Pitch! Why did you reverse the spell?! I had him in the palm of my hand!"

"Ah but I didn't. A little girl with white and hair and snow powers did." Once he said that i glared and grumbled.

"Elsa! But... How? You said it was irreversible!"

Pitch tapped his lips still looking sleezy, "Not quite. A kiss can undo the spell, I expected you would be able to at least stop elsa from kissing him! Looks like I was wrong for trusting you." He cackled, chanted a few words, blew his dust, and disappeared.

The world around me spun. It felt like I was being torn apart. I cried out for help, but no words escaped my mouth. Slowly... But all at once I found myself way up high in what seems to be a tower.
Something's different.

As I began to realize what was wrong I inhaled and exhaled quickly.

"No! No!! I won't be locked in here again!" I screamed and screamed, fearing the old women and her partners would come and get me. Just like they had so many years ago.

In front of me stood a cage, the cage I spent 6 years of my life inside..

Elsa P.O.V

I felt my cheeks become hot and I blushed intently.

A troll came over and interrupted us, "Um excuse me but would you still like to forgot?"

I blinked and moment and shook my head, I could tell Jack was nervous to hear my response, "No... I'd rather be here, with him." I said and stood by Jack.

"As you wish." The grandfather troll lowered his head and Jack picked me up, and we both flew away.

As we flew through the sky I began to get curious, "Hey Jack... How did you break that spell anyway?"

He glanced down at me with a smirk, "Your kiss broke it actually."

"Just like Jake had said..." I mumbled and looked around at the view.

Jack stopped suddenly in mid air and looked at me concerned, "Jake? When did he talk to you?"

I bit my lip and looked at him, "Not long ago, he was the one who told me that a kiss who save you, but I didn't believe in it because I didn't believe in fairytales." I explained calmly, my heart beating fast in my chest.

"Oh.." He sighed with relief, "Just as long as he didn't... Do anything to you."

I blinked and gasped at him, "No Jack! He didn't. If he had tried I would've done something to stop him. But you can thank him, because he's the reason you were saved and I didn't erase my memories."

Jack looked down at me with kind eyes and continued flying, "Yes alright I believe you. Hey... Can I ask you something?"

The sudden question made my heart skip a beat, "Of course..."

"When I was under Rapunzel's spell, why did you try so hard to save me? I could've been some liar who claimed to be your guardian to get close to you." He asked me and looked at me waiting for an answer.

"Well, I guess the thought of you being with anyone else tore me apart. I couldn't stand to see you like that. And besides, i didn't know anything about you, but i just trusted. Because well.. while you were under that spell it made me realized how deeply in love I had fallen for you. And I couldn't loose you." I finally was able to admit that I loved him. The meat of my heart has pounded faster every second. My cheeks had become red but I didn't care. He finally knows how I feel about him...

My words seem to have gotten to him a little because I noticed he was blushing. Which only made me more embarrassed. "Jack... Please say something or I'll die of embarrassment."

In a few short seconds his mood completely changed. He frowned and looked ahead as if remembering something awful. Then he turned to me and said, "We can't be together."

"Wh-what?!" I asked confused and hurt that he had shot me down who I decided to open up to him.

He flew as fast as he could and set me down at the doorway to my house, then turning around and flying away.

I didn't know what just happened. So I covered my mouth with my hands and leaned down a wall in tears.

Jack P.O.V

"...it made me realize how deeply in love I had fallen for you." Elsas words had rang through my head endlessly. Forcing me to remember the awful death of Queen elsa so many years ago... I can't make that mistake again. If I can keep this elsa alive this time.. I'll do anything. Even... Leave her side and watch from a distance. If I get to close she could be Pitch's main target...

With a flip of my hair and a quick boost from the wind I flew back towards Elsa's house, where I could watch from a distance.. I just can't see her get hurt.

Because thing is... I've fallen in love with her too.

Aye! So this chapter may have been a little confusing. Rapunzel is back in her tower, only this time she was locked up in a more... Modern and hostile way.. If that makes sense. But i hope you liked this chapter! Comment on any story you want me to update of with any comment at all! 💕
