"ChaeChaeee! Your beloved Hyerin is here!"

I rolled my eyes before glancing at my best friend, Hyerin, who was sashaying into the café.

"What are you doing here?" I chuckled, putting away the glass I was wiping.

"I'm here for my daily dose of chocolate cookies, duh!" She smiled, sitting down on the counter. "A dozen, please!"

"Get off the counter." I commanded before grabbing a bowl and filling it with twelve cookies and sliding it across the counter. It landed right next to Hyerin, making a smile form on her face.

"Good stuff." She grabbed one and took a bite of it.

"Hey, get off the counter already, Eunnie." I smirked, making her glare at me.

"I told you not to call me that!" She grumbled.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever."

"Rare for the café to be empty like this." Hyerin glanced at me.

"We had a few early customers." I shrugged. "I mean, I'm not complaining if it's gonna be empty."

At that moment, the bell on top of the door rang, making me turn to look at who it was.

"Hey, Hyunjin." I smiled, making him smile in response.

"Oh, great." Hyerin rolled her eyes, grabbing another cookie from the bowl.

"Macchiato, please." He handed me some money. "Keep the change."

"Um... Thanks..." I chuckled.

"No need to flex, Mister Rich Guy." Hyerin rolled her eyes. Hyunjin shot her a glare before sitting down somewhere.

"Be nice, Eunnie." I chuckled as I started making Hyunjin's drink.

"Oh, so you're taking his side?"

"Actually, I am."

Hyerin rolled her eyes, then finally got off the counter, hugging the bowl of cookies close to her.

"Rin, you can't seriously be pissed off just because I'm not with you on this." I sighed.

"Just leave me and my cookies alone!" Hyerin yelled before sitting down somewhere in the corner. I rolled my eyes, continuing to make Hyunjin's drink.

Ten minutes later, I brought the macchiato to Hyunjin, who was on his laptop. He glanced at me, and his lips stretched into a smile.

"Oh, it smells good." He commented as I placed it down on his table.

"Enjoy." I smiled. However, before I could leave, he grabbed me by my wrist.

"Just sit down." He chuckled. "Let's talk."

I glanced at him, my cheeks a light shade of pink.

"Um... Sure..." I sat down in front of him.

"Hah! Married couple!" Hyerin yelled from the other corner of the room.

"Oh, shut up!" I rolled my eyes before glancing at Hyunjin. "Uh, sorry about her."

"I know, I know. It's okay." Hyunjin chuckled, shaking his head a bit.

Hyunjin and Hyerin are two customers who come daily. Apparently, for some unknown reason, Hyerin really really hates Hyunjin's guts. Whenever I ask her why, though, her response is a sinple "He's just a bitch, y'know?".

"Sooo..." Hyunjin spoke up, making me glance at him. "Is it... Normally this quiet...?"

"Oh, no." I chuckled. "People normally come at around twelve, then it gets quiet starting from five."
