"Before we pack..." Chaeyeon spoke up. "What exactly is the plan?"
"Oh, simple." Hyerin shrugged. "Step one, we go to my house for the night. Step two, we get you two out of the town tomorrow, first thing in the morning. Step three, San and I go back and wait until your friend gets discharged. Step four, we take him out of town and to you. Step five, we live happily ever after. Easy."
"... This is unusual coming from you." Hyunjin commented.
"What is?"
"Step one."
"... What about it?" Hyerin raised a brow. "Is it the fact that I have a house?"
"No, I don't care if you have a house. You're legal." Hyunjin shrugged. "Just that... We're on a run. It's unlike you to take rests like this."
Hyerin stayed silent, staring blankly at the male before heaving out a sigh.
"Well, someone," She glared at San. "Forced me to."
"Well, that's never stopped you before." Hyunjin raised a brow. Hyerin stayed silent, still eyeing her partner.
"Care to tell them?" She asked. San heaved out a sigh, running a hand through his hair before shaking his head.
"No, I think I'm good." He flashed a smile at her. Hyerin glared at him for a good three seconds before glancing at the other male.
"Right, then I'll tell the story." The female had a sarcastic smile on her face. "He said that if I don't take a rest, he'll put a bullet in my brain."
"... Oh-"
"And that's not even the worst part!"
Hyunjin stared at her, feeling both confused and concerned.
"So then there he was, pressing his gun against my forehead, while Wooyoung had me in a chokehold, knife against my neck." Hyerin continued. "And I fucking got hurt thanks to the knife!"
"In my defense," San spoke up. "You were shaking. Wooyoung was as still as a statue."
"And in my defense," Hyerin glared at him. "You told Wooyoung to do that."
"And in my defense, Wooyoung sided with me."
"As he always did..."
"I... See..." Hyunjin mumbled. "Is... That why your jacket's zipped up...?"
"Part of the reason." The blue haired female shrugged, unzipping her jacket halfway through, revealing the bandage around her neck which looked a bit like a choker. "Pretty, isn't it?"
Chaeyeon thought about Hyerin's plan over and over again before glancing at her.
"We can't do your plan." She spoke up, making everyone stare at her. "We can't leave Jeongin alone."
"And why not?" Hyerin raised a brow.
"Jeongin's the only family I have left." Hyunjin stepped in. "I've put him in danger many times, and I'm not going to put him in danger again by putting him in your hands."
"Look, you guys are going to evacuate first while San and I get Jeongin. We'll bring him to you then." Hyerin scoffed. "Just because our hands are covered in blood, that doesn't mean that we're not trustworthy."
"You don't get to decide that, Rin." Hyunjin muttered. "When I said that he's the only family I have left, I really mean it."
"Ooh, when I said that he's the only family I have left, I really mean it-"
