Transparent; chapter 1

George's eyes fluttered open, his messy hair covering his eyes. He rolled onto his left side, spotting the sun shining through his curtains and the dust that float within the light. He stared at his window for a moment before groaning and throwing the quilts off of himself and standing up from his bed.

He stretched his arms in the air earning a slight crack from his elbows and back. He stood there for a second waiting for the dizziness to subside from standing up quickly. He shook his hair out his face and walked over to his monitor, not thinking about getting breakfast first.

He sat down in his chair sinking into the leather and leaning back for a moment before grabbing his headphones and placing then on his head. He adjusted in his seat until he was comfortable, then turned on his computer. He inhaled taking in the smell of himself and his room. The computer turned on, and he loaded up discord almost immediately contacting dream. He rest his head on his hand and stared at the computer screen. He heard a groan through his headphones, he raised an eyebrow in response.

"Hello?" George heard from his headphones.

Dreams words were slightly slurred, and his voice ever so deeper as it always was when he first woke up.

"Did you just wake up?" George asked partially already knowing the answer.

"Yeah" dream answered blandly.

"Ok." George said, loading up minecraft.

George heard a yawn from the other end of the call and smiled.

"What are you doing?" Dream asked after a few seconds.

"I dunno I'm probably gonna play bedwars, play with me?..." George asked hoping the answer would be yes.

"Of course" dream answered again with a little more tone to his voice than before.

"One second."

George watched as dream mute himself and clearly became afk or something. Not even 30 seconds later dream unmute his mic.

"Okay, I'm back" he said sitting down in his chair again.

"Where'd you go?" George asked, wanting to be nosey.

"Patches was playing with my wires under my desk so I took her out my room" dream said with a little laugh after.

George smiled and covered his hands with his face, sliding them over his forehead and through his hair.

He loaded into bedwars and ran around the lobby for a moment.

"Are you in yet?" George asked before inviting dream.

As soon as he asked "your friend 'Dream' as joined the server" popped up in the chat.

"Never mind." George said inviting Dream to his party.

Dream laughed and joined his party, earning a smile from George. They joined bedwars and stood still, collecting iron and gold. Both of them stay silent as Dream placed a layer of wool around their bed and began bridging to the middle. George upgraded his sword and bought wool then followed Dream. He watched dream begin speed bridging when George began following him and fell.

"FU-" dreams mic cut out.

"HAHA you're so bad" George insulted jokingly continuing the bridge to the middle.

He ran to the diamond spawner and picked up 2 diamonds, he saw grey team running towards him after they saw him pick up diamonds. George gasped running back to his base.

"DREAM HELP" George yelled, smiling uncontrollably. The grey player hit George causing him to yell and laugh more. He ran to the bridge and saw Dream running towards him, he turned around and they both killed the opposite team.
