Bullying Stops Now

Hello. I have a message for you. A small, but meaningful message. The people who read this mean the world to me, and the ones who don't can't see how much love I give you. Because, really, you have to love. After all, Winston Churchill was right. If you have enemies, you have stood up for something in your life. But I'm right, too. And apparently very modest. If you have friends, you have stopped the hate against others for a second. Now do that to everyone. Please. I beg you.

I am bullied. Frequently at school. I have an amazing Mother, amazing friends, and readers I can't help but love. Not only are they readers, they help me through hard times, perhaps the best of them is Wings, whom I have not met, but love dearly. I couldn't imagine I'd write without knowing her, as she has provided me with uplifting messages throughout my 'stay' on Wattpad. As well as my family and friends, of course. All these people give me such help, and such respect, I can't help but praise them in every way.

Any way, back to the point. I am bullied. And the person next to you, behind you, or yourself, has been, will be or is currently being bullied. Probably. If not, well done, you escaped the hellishness of depression, suicidal thoughts, and anger beyond belief. But bullying is close to my heart. I am not a bully. I am a victim, a victim who is just strong enough, and just angry enough to stop this crap. BULLYING IS NOT COOL. But the saying, 'Bullying is for losers' seems to make my breathing hitch with fury and my fists ball up in condensed rage. Because that saying can be construed in two ways. It can be seen as the bullies are evil, and are cruel, which is in itself bullying. To call another evil or even the spawn of Satan, as I have heard on many occasions- to me. (I replied with a cackle and found it handy to be drinking coke as I pretended to start foaming at the mouth in an evil-type way). Or the saying can be construed in the sort of way which means the bullying victim is a loser for taking the crap we all take to heart. Stop the slogans that hurt people.

I am not using this as a pity story. I am not using it to point out anguish, of myself or of anyone else. And yet, at the same time, I kind of am. I ask of you to think of what you say, very hard. Do not just let the words 'Freak', 'Emo', or 'Ugly', pass through your lips, for they taint your good mind, good spirit, and your very soul. I have also just heard the worst news you can possibly hear, despite the fact it did not come at me, for me, and did not destroy me. But it has absolutely wounded a girl whom I do not know, have never met, but I quite like. Particularly her taste in music. This young girl is known as RebelsAnthem. She needs help right now. If you have a heart, and are not callous, you will take a moment after you have read my message to comment on her wall, give her an uplifting message after such a heart breaking story.

My message is written within these words, my own words. I have used neither pen nor paper to write them, but my heart and feelings. They are splashed across everything I write, using space to show all how I feel. Bearing my soul to all of you. Bullying must stop. Never ever say you are only a person. For a person you are, but God, you are strong. You are powerful. Not all-knowing, but ever-keen in the rise of knowledge. My teachers say I have a way with words. I do not take this to heart. I take this to soul. Allowing praise into yourself is one of the more difficult things to do. To accept you are worthwhile is almost unthinkable by many. Some may be reading these words, perhaps crying at them. If you are, stand strong, my friends, because you know of what I am talking. How much of a difference you want.

This is not a want, any more.

This is a need.

More teens, more elderly people, more adults, die every day for lack of morals, human kindness, and a swift hello.

God, do you know? How much these words can hurt? Are you the giver or the taker, in this not forgotten pain?

Even a 'Hope you are well', or a small 'I hope you have a very good day', can make the difference between LIFE and DEATH.

Do you see, now? How much of a difference you can make?

Be it small, or large. You can stand up in school, and say bullying is wrong, tell a teacher you want to start a club. Or when a person looks down, do not just walk past with a grim expression  and cold heart. Ask them if they are okay, if they need company. Because we all do, once in a while. We all want someone to hold us, stroke our hair and tell us we are something. Or say they know we are not okay.

I love you. For holding on this long, for reading this long message. I meant for it to be short. I am sorry. KEEP HOLDING ON. Not just reading this message. But if you are suicidal and waiting for the last straw to die, or depressed. Remember no matter what has happened in your past, you deserve a future, and the people around you do too. Treat others kindly. Love without hate. Do not hold a grudge.

Remember me, remember this message.

Remember no matter how down you are, I love you. I dedicate this to you all, all who have felt pain, love and hate. All who believe this. Thank you.
