As for the cult that 'summoned' SCP-8812 was hunted down by the locals and finally exterminated all of them after 8 years of effort like the witch hunts of Salem; however, 8812 survived and its existence slowly corrupted the entirety of Unst turning it into a collective insanity zone until everyone eventually succumb to the madness and died, death by suicide or murder or other means... That is still unclear.

- Nov. 11/2021 - MTF Squad 04 - Capture Lead: Prof. James Hunt - Result : Absolute Failure
This report documents the 1st attempt made to apprehend SCP-8812 lead by Prof. Hunt and just how much he and the foundation underestimated the sheer passive power that was there.

We thought the shore was terrible but we just a man run at us with a gun killing three of our men before declaring he was the reincarnate of Hitler before refusing to be taken prison and blowing his own brains out! Outcome: MTF 04 deceased, Prof. Hunt recovered and contained for 'Mental Instability'. All recordings recovered upon the 2nd attempt, where as it was the successful recovery of SCP-8812.
== 2nd Capture Attempt Report ==
- Dec. 06/2021 - Epsilon-47 // Mind Crusader Unit - Capture Lead: Officer Duncan Worth - Result : Success (?)
Synopsis: After numerous hours of drone surveillance, 10 members of Epsilon-47 aka the Mind Crusader Unit, a squad of MTF built specifically for capturing SCP's with mind altering effects. 10 went out only 4 returned not because of SCP-8812 hostility but due to 3 factors: - Overwhelming psychic corruption - Unstable territory and structures - Hostile population and wildlife
Granted SCP-8812 didn't take to being greeted with armed guards well, he did resist and prove a hazard but with a double dose of sedative they were able to contain and transport 8812.

SCP-8812 has currently been under containment and observations for 5 months now in cell after Celtic shamanic runes were put in place to contain his madness-inducing aura while also reducing his other abilities.
8812 behaviour is odd to say the least, years of isolation and growing insanity has made 8812 untrusting and anti-social refusing to speak to anyone; furthermore, you wouldn't expect the offspring of SCP-2662 to have such a child like wonder about new technologies and books especially books by Edgar Allan Poe and Brahm Stocker.
SCP-8812 has shown a higher then average IQ alongside revealing a few facts about himself. For example he said "Containment would be fine if I had books and not the drooling maw of prestige-hungry boy scouts watching me 24/7" and "Being alone was fine... Quiet and as much free time I could ask for... I miss the rain though"
Known abilities:
- Aura of Madness : SCP-8812 has no control over this ability, he constantly radiates an aura that slowly wears away at the mind of anyone in a 20m radius requiring researchers to take a mental health exam every 3 months.
- Water Affinity : SCP-8812 has been seen being able to breath underwater without gills and it would seem he is more co-operative in wet environments.
- Telepathy : SCP-8812 has revealed the ability to read and communicate via the mind up to 180ft.
- Radar : SCP-8812 is capable of sensing living organisms near, the reach of this ability has not yet been determined.
- Thick Skin : SCP-8812 skin is soft like a humans upon touch but trying to damage 8812 is more of an obstacle then expected being highly resistant to fire and physical trauma.
