Progress was slow, but finally they came the inn's spacious front lawn and rooked driveway at the end of the road.
several cars were parked there. The building was a rambling structure which was dived into 3 sections. Its central portion was a story high and had a flat roof. The other 2 buildings were both 3 stories tall, also with a flat roof.
There was a dimmed glow of candle lights the gleamed "Welcome!" Almost breathless, the three girls dashed up to the front porch as it just started to rain.
Dallas glanced at the parked cars in the parking lot and remarked with a grin. "I wonder what their drivers will say when they see the tree blocking the road." "They'll look willed!," Charlie prophesied, and added, "Im sure I look a fright."She ran her fingers through her messy, black hair.
Judith, a red head with long hair, remarked, "Who wouldn't, when we've just barley escaped being blown into space!"
The girls led themselves to the door and were welcomed by a long hallway greeted by Crystal chandlers, lighted by the power box that hid behind the front desk. To the left and right arched doorways opened rooms with long dinning tables and a bar, each with similar chandlers.
