Autumn's P.O.V.
"Ricky you don't have to be afraid of me. I won't hurt you I promise." I said, stepping closer to him. He backed away and kept his head low.
"What are you so afraid of?" I asked gently. He looked up at me and I saw nothing but fear in his eyes.
"Pain." He whispered.
"I'm not going to hurt you." I said, stepping even closer. I gently placed both my hands on his face and pulled him closer. Our lips were centimeters away from each other and I longed for them to meet.
"No." He said, pulling away.
"What is it?" I asked, worriedly.
"Please just leave me alone." He said, grabbing his backpack and then running out of the woods.
That was the thing though. I wasn't going to hurt him and I had no intentions on hurting him. I didn't want to leave him alone. I was afraid of what he was capable of to inflict onto himself.
