【Souichi Tsuji x Reader】Oneshots!

 "Breaking News! We interrupt this program to announce that an incredibly harsh blizzard had covered all of the roads of Fukazawa!"

It was already nine at night, the cold strong wind blew through the small countryside town while the thick droplets of snow built up on the roads and the rooftops of people's houses. 

(Y/N) rummaged around their kitchen, while holding some snacks while they listened to the news reporter from the TV. They opened the fridge and grabbed two bottles of soda, with their fingers, almost dropping them on the floor. But they manage to fit all of the items in their arms. They walked out of the kitchen and to the doorway of the living room where no one was in but with the TV on.

"The blizzard is estimated to continue till the next morning." The reporter continued. "So, everyone please, bundle up, stay inside for the rest of the night! And please stay safe!..."

(Y/N)'s mother walked over to them right as the news ended, "I just called the Tsuji's house to let them know about the situation with Souichi staying here for the night." (Y/N) looked up to their mother with a smile, "Yes! We can have our first ever sleepover!" (Y/N) beamed with excitement before climbing up stairs with joy. "But don't stay up too late!" Their mother called out after (Y/N) turned the corner to the direction of their room. They yelled out, "I won't!" which was followed by a laugh.

They entered the room through the sliding door, Souichi sat on the Kotatsu, his legs under the heated blanket. He looked up from where he was sitting (Y/N) while he had a single nail in his mouth. "Are you excited for our sleepover?" (Y/N) asked cheerily while they closed the door with their foot. Souichi was invited by (Y/N) for an after school study session but he accidentally ended up staying longer than he intended to. 

They sat down on the cushion under the Kotatsu after dumping all of the snacks on the table. Souichi smirked, "Actually, yeah, I've never really slept over someone's house before," he said while grabbing one of the soda. (Y/N) was surprised to hear that, they took a potato chip bag from the bundle snacks and the soda as well. "Really? Why not?" (Y/N) gazed at his fingers as he tried to open the soda bottle. Pop! The bottle cap flew up before landing on the wooden table.

Souichi shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know, it's probably because I'm just better than everyone else in class!" he chuckled at his comment before taking a sip of the soda while the nail was still in his mouth. (Y/N) opened up the potato chip, "That's a lie," they said softly as they looked up at Souichi. He placed the soda back on the desk after taking another sip. He didn't respond back to their comment. "I've been friends with you since elementary school, and I always noticed how everyone avoided you."

"Don't you ever get lonely, just being by yourself?" (Y/N) asked as Souichi looked up to them. Both of their eyes met, Souichi furrowed his eyebrows a bit, it was not in anger but in sadness. "Ehh, well," he said, "I just kind of got used to it," Souichi replied. He took his eyes off of (Y/N) and to the snacks. "But despite everyone getting creeped out by me-" he said while he grabbed a small bag of milk bread. He opened it up and looked back up at (Y/N) with a smile, "-you still kept being my one and only friend, and I'm okay with that" he bit into the bread. "You are the only one I need."

(Y/N)'s eyes turned watery. They sniffled, "Wow, that's- that's one of the sweetest things that you have ever said?" they said with a wonky smile, as if they were going to burst into tears. Souichi looked away, his cheeks turned pink but giggled at them while he finished chewing the small piece of bread. "But, hey, you didn't use your magic to curse me to stay as your friend right?" (Y/N) asked his suspiciously.  Souichi turned his head back at them. He placed both of his elbows on top of the table and rested his chin on top of his hands. He turned his head to the side with a huge menacing grin plastered on his face, "Maybe~" he cooed while he leaned in close to (Y/N). (Y/N) shivered, "Oh, stop it you!" they kicked his foot under the blanket. Souichi yelped in surprise and whined, 

"Ow! It was just a joke!"

The snow did not stop it's momentum but instead got stronger for the rest of the night. It was already one in the morning and most people in the town had gone to bed. Both of (Y/N) and Souichi planned on staying up later but (Y/N)'s mother ended up ushering them to sleep before ten.

Two futons were placed on (Y/N)'s floor. (Y/N) laid in one of them so did Souichi. It was really quiet and dark in the room. (Y/N) could only hear the sound of the whistling wind outside and Souichi's breathing. But he seemed to be shivering from the cold despite being under the blanket because the sound of his teeth chattering were heard once in a while as both of them slept. Some time passed by and his shivering did not stop, (Y/N) groggily sat up and poked at Souichi, "Hey, do you want an extra blanket?" they asked while rubbing their eyes. He didn't reply but (Y/N) had already got up to their closet to find another blanket. Nothing. It was just their clothes and some boxes full of old items but no blankets. They considered going to their parents to ask if they have any but were afraid that their parents would get angry with them for waking them so late at night. 

(Y/N), being so tired and not wanting to go out to the cold hallway from their room, they ended up curling next to Souichi. They placed their own blanket on top of him before they laid as close as possible to Souichi so that they could warm up his body. Souichi's shivering stopped after a while and both of them drifted off to sleep for the night.

The morning came by quickly. The blizzard had stopped, the yellow bright sun was back out in the blue sky. The sun shined through (Y/N)'s bedroom window and on to their face. The bright light disturbed them awake, they opened their eyes but could only see nothing but light. As they tried to turn, they noticed that they were being wrapped up by something that was not their blankets. It was long and boney, like limbs. Their eyes adjusted to the bright light, and the first thing they saw was Souichi's face. 

He wrapped his arms arounds (Y/N) as if they were cuddling with a teddy bear, his face pressed against them while he slept soundly. (Y/N) covered their mouth with their hand and gasped in shock. They wanted to move away from him but also did not want to disturb him awake. They blushed but shook the idea of him having a crush on them, "No, he's just a friend, nothing more, nothing less" Souichi squeezed them tightly and a soft smile appeared on his face. (Y/N) looked at his smiling face, he looked really adorable in their eyes. 

"Okay...maybe a little more than friends" 

They ended up cuddling back Souichi while falling back asleep in his embrace. Both of them smiling as they slept under their warm blankets.
