Chapter 3

AYO - SMUT. WARNING.

"You fucked WHO and WHO watched?!" Nova screeched, staring wide-eyed at Veronica. "Aye! Up top!" Sawyer said, holding up her hand for a high five. Nova reached over, smacking Sawyer on the arm for encouraging this whole situation. Veronica put up her hands in defense, "Guys please! It's late. I'm sore. I would like to go to sleep."

"Right...sore." Nova uttered slyly, receiving a glare from Veronica. "Goodnight asshats!" Sawyer called out, before going into her room and shutting the door. Veronica and Nova climbed into their beds, Veronica was setting her alarm. Nova hesitated, looking towards her friend, "Can you promise one thing?" Veronica looked over, the small light from Nova's side giving just enough to see her, "Depends." Nova exhaled, worried tone in her voice, "No more secrets about you and Kenny, please? It's been two days and there's already too much."

Veronica nodded, "Yeah yeah, I get it. No more secrets. I promise." "Great," Nova reached for her light, "Well, goodnight. Get some sleep."

The next morning

The three girls woke up around the same time, smiling because they were here, in sunny Jacksonville. But then their mood changed, remembering today they would have to say goodbye to Jake. Sawyer got out of bed first, going in to see if the other two were awake. "Knock knock." Sawyer joked, entering the room. Veronica smiled, mumbling an almost inaudible good morning. Nova waved, sighing. "C'mon guys, you know if he sees us like this he won't let it go." Sawyer pleaded, trying to hide the amount of sadness in her voice. Veronica contemplated for a second, before getting up and grabbing clothes out of her bag, "I'm not putting on any makeup, just in case I cry it off." Nova sat up, dragging her feet to the bathroom, "This is going to be the worst day of my life, Sawyer I swear to God."

Sawyer gave an awkward smile, "That's...somewhat the spirit!" She let go of the breath it felt like she was holding, before going into her room to get ready. They didn't throw on anything special , just hoodies and sweatpants to make it through the morning.

Veronica grabbed the keys for their rental before making sure they had everything before they left. Sawyer leaned on the wall, waiting patiently as Nova tried to find one of her shoes. After she found it, they finally headed out the door.

They met with Jake at the entrance of the airport. "These past couple days went by so fast." Veronica whined. It sucked that because of contracting, Warhorse had to get back home to complete different shows. "I'll come visit you guys as soon as possible. You three don't need me anymore, go dominate AEW by yourself." he began to tear up making all of them start to get sad. Sawyer was the first to hug him, and Nova and Veronica leeched on. His plane was called and he hugged them a little bit tighter before letting go, and walking to departure. Nova and Veronica wiped their eyes with their sleeves, before almost letting out a full sob. "Could y'all stop crying - it's not that serious." Sawyer mumbled doing her best to hold her tears in. "I can't help it." Nova coughed. Sawyer rolled her eyes before walking back to their car. The passenger door shut, and Sawyer's tough girl act fell upon her as she began to ugly cry. That just made Nova and Veronica break down even more. "I knew you were sad!" Veronica called out through her sobs. Nova laughed, finally feeling a little bit of joy out of the situation. "Shut up you dorks! He's my best friend, now who knows how long it'll be till we see him again." Sawyer frowned, wiping her tears. "Oh I am SO telling him you said that." Nova joked, receiving a glare from Sawyer. "Do NOT. He won't let me live it down."

"Welp. Too late now." Veronica chimed, waving her phone in her hand.

Sawyer is throwing a fit because she misses you. She said you're her best friend.

Jake: I knew it.

Sawyer groaned, "Just drive! We're ugly crying and people are staring." Veronica and Nova chuckled, wiping the rest of the tears off their faces. "Yeah, we can get a bit more sleep." Veronica said, putting the gear in drive to start their way back to the hotel.
