More Than I Expected.

-Chapter One-

I woke up early that morning to get ready for one of the most, what was suppose to be, -exciting couple weeks of my life.

Carter's POV.

It was only about 5am when I rolled out of bed & woke up my best friend Nikki, we had a 6 hour plane ride to California awaiting us in an hour, so we got dressed, & packed the rest of the things we needed until it was time to go. By the time we got to the airport it was nearly 6am already, we rushed inside & went threw security & all that stuff. After that we boarded our plane to Cali.

I woke up to the sound of the flight attendant saying we were landing, & thats when I realized we basically slept the entire time on the plane, I elbowed Nikki & told her to wake up, "5 more minutes mom." she mumbled, i laughed, "Nikki! cmon, we're in California." and with that she was more than wide awake. We grabbed our stuff & went into the airport, I had already texted Jc, yes Jc Caylen, & told him we were on our way.

Did i forget to mention we're best friend's with Jc Caylen, Kian Lawley, Sam Pottorff & Connor Franta?

We took a taxi to Sam's house, when we had got there we immediately ran into the house, but we looked around & didn't see anybody. "Where are they?" I whispered. "Oh hey Nikki."..."wait..NIKKI!" Sam screamed & ran over to her & gave her a bear hug while I awkwardly stood there. "Jc, Connor, Kian! come here! the girls are here!" Sam yelled.

They all ran out & pretty much pummeled us, we all exchanged our hugs, & what not. "I missed you so much." I turned around to see Kian behind me, I hugged him tightly & mumbled, "I missed you too, Kian." I pulled away & looked over to see Jc glaring at Kian, I shrugged it off & walked into the kitchen & sat on a spiny chair next to Nikki, "So, what are we gonna do today?" Nikki said, breaking the silence. It was just about 2pm, we can't sit around all day. "How about we go to the beach?" Connor suggested. We all agreed.

I went threw my bag & pulled out a tribal print bikini, I went into the bathroom & put it on, along with a white laced shirt, shorts, & vans. I walked out & seen that Nikki was ready, she had a leopard print bikini on, & a black laced shirt, shorts, & vans on. "Twinning." I said as I walked by her. She rolled her eyes & laughed. "Y'all ready?" Sam said. We all shook our heads & began to walk down to the beach.

Nikki's POV. (switching it up, woop.)

"ugh, it's so hooot." I whined, "Stop complaining, we're almost there." Connor said with a smile. god, his smile was to die for I thought. by now I was trailing behind the rest because, well because I'm lazy. "Hey." I looked over to see Sam smiling at me, "yenno, I really missed you." I couldn't help but smile, "I missed you too, Sam." and after that he sorta, walked away. at this point I was pretty confused, he tells me he misses me then walks away? I shook my head & sighed, whatever.

I was in a pretty deep thought when I stepped on something really warm & looked down at my feet, "sand." I mumbled to myself. "oh we're here!" I spoke up. "You don't say?" Carter said sarcastically while she was taking her shorts off. I turned around to see the rest of the boys already running into the water, "Nikki?" I heard Carter say from behind me, "yeah?" I said, but didn't turn around to look at her, "are you okay?" she said back while walking in front of me. "Fine." I mumbled & walked past her. I couldn't help but notice Sam's perfect body as I got into the water nearing the boys. "Let's see who can swim out the furthest." I said grinning.

All the boys, including Carter & I began swimming out, I'm not gonna lie I was getting pretty nervous because let's face it, I wasn't the best swimmer, but I wasn't gonna let myself lose to them, we all got out pretty far, & of course most of them were further out than I was, so I came up with an idea, "SHARK!" I screamed, & they all came back swimming faster than ever.

"Just Kidding!!" I smirked slyly. "That wasn't funny, you scared the shit outta me." Carter said, "it's okay, cause I won." "you basically cheated so shut up." she said back. After that we just swam around, we played chicken, walked to the pier & got ice cream. 

I sighed, "today went by fast." "Only because you aren't used to the time here." Kian spoke up, "it's a 3 hour difference." it was 6pm here in Cali.

"So how long are you guys staying for?" Connor asked while eating his ice cream, "about 5 weeks." I said. "yeah, so let's try & make the best of it." Carter chimed in. We began walking back to Sam's house, because that's where we were staying for these five weeks, all of us were, actually. Once we got to Sam's house I immediately went to take a shower. After I got out, I got dressed in shorts & a tank top, & threw my hair up in a messy bun & walked downstairs.

I walked downstairs to see Sam on the phone ordering pizza, while everyone else was crowded around in his living room getting ready to watch a movie. "Forget to invite me?" I said, scanning the room. "we thought you were going to sleep." Jc said, "well I wasn't" I said & plopped down on the couch between Connor & Sam.

The movie was getting pretty boring & I was getting kinda tired so I laid my head down on Connors lap & sprawled my legs out on Sam's lap. Connor began playing with my hair which made me feel so tired, I looked up & smiled at him.

Connor's POV. (switching it again, hollllla.)

I started playing with Nikki's hair, I looked down at her & she was already looking up at me & smiling. Her smile was so cute, who am I kidding, she, was so cute, she was actually perfect now that I think of it. I sighed to myself & continued watching the movie.

Ding Dooong. Sam got up to get the door, it was the pizza guy, Sam paid him & brought the pizza to the kitchen table, we all got up & grabbed our pizza, began eating, & just having a pretty decent time. After that we all sat back down to watch the movie & we all ended up falling asleep.

Okay, I know this is kinda short, but it's my first ever story & I just wanted to put it up already so yeah.
