She was lying there, peacefully asleep in the freefall position. Or at least that's what I had thought at first glance. He head rested on her open journal, arms splayed out wildly. I silently went into my room to go grab my phone, and I noticed something. There was red all over my floor. The sticky red substance was all over my room. My mind made the connection much slower than it should have, because the chances were so slim, nearly impossible! I shivered, and called out meekly, "S-s-s-avannah? Please tell me that this is just a..." My voice trailed off as I realized that she wasn't breathing. "Savannah! No! Please!" I shouted, regretting to have said for Mom to go to the store. A freaky giggling raised the hair on the back of my neck. "Who..." I wasn't able to choke out the rest of my simple-minded question. My heart beat out of control, a diseased antelope missing a leg chased by a tiger. "You should have accepted the first time, Alanza..." The owner of the freaky voice and giggle stepped out with many other odd outlines that growled menacingly from the shadows of my closet. "Long time, no see, Alanza. Remember me?" I turned around and searched for the new speaker. "I'm in your head, Alanza," I bit back a scream, and let my curiosity get the best of me. Hoping my voice was clear and not shaky, I puzzled, "Why do you call me...Alanza?" The odd name sounded slightly familiar as it rolled around my tongue. The mind-creature hissed, "Because you are Alanza! Witless fool, listen!" I bit back a reply as the shadow-creature took another step forward. "Your friend here was very tasty. The thoughts of a writer are the most delicious!" Something inside me snapped. "I hope you nasty, ugly beasts know what is coming ofr you! YOU WILL PAY!" I screamed threats and insults at the things, rage radiating from the solid core of my very escence. "You will be very important and needed when you join my ranks." The mind-creature chuckled. "You! Get! Out! Of! My! Head!" I shouted, all of my attention of those words, and...the darkness faded. The creatures hissed, shocked, and scampered off. I quivered, and swayed. Oh Savannah...Those were my last thoughts before everything stopped. I had a sick twisted dream...there was an innocent little girl that looked suspicously like my twin, Evangaline. We were always the opposite of each other. She was being chased by a monster...And I was the monster! Her hair was dyed platinum white...the same color hair when she was...kidnapped...I couldn't stop, and all of my thoughts were terrible, horrible...
