On the 2nd of January...
Its my first day at this school, I really can't wait! This is exciting! The bad thing is that my sworn enemy went into the same school as me - John. John used to be one of my friends when I was in Primary/Elementary School. We had lots of fun but we argued a lot, which led us to the conclusion that we are no longer friends and that he bullies me a lot.
I got ready, I ate my breakfast, took a bath and put on my uniform with my tie and everything. Once I had to go out, I told my parents and I went off. I took bus 28* and since I know that it only takes around 20+ minutes, I felt relieved and knew I didn't go out too soon. When I reached there, I quickly hurried as I didn't have much time left.
I walked to the assembly area and looked for my group - I know my group since I have went to this school once. One of the student council asked me whether I was a sec one student and I said yes. She noticed that I was wearing a tie and told me that I could take off my tie. When she told me that, I stared at her blankly and did not know what was going on. I found my group and sat at the back of the row.
I took out my storybook and started reading. It was the same book everyday. I already finished reading it and I didn't have much books to read. After reading a bit, they told us to keep away our books and get ready to sing the national anthem.
After singing the national anthem, we recited the pledge. After reciting the pledge in English, they also recited the pledge in Chinese, which is new for me, considering I did not know that we also had to recite it in Chinese.
Once all of that was over, the secondary one students and some other secondary four and five students came along with us to the hall...
