"Shit" Lizzie grumbled, thumbing her temples.

"What?" Josie frowned at her sister.

Lizzie dove into her wardrobe again, clothing and hangers flying out and landing on the bed.

"Fuck," she growled.

"Liz, what?" Josie slid off the window sill and stood by the bed, hands on hips.

"I don't know which one to wear. I don't know which one will match his."

"It's MG," Josie rolled her eyes

"He'll probably just pitch up in black like most of the guys."

"Yeah but..." Lizzie leaned out of her wardrobe again holding up two dresses. One was black. The other was a blue and nicely fitted

"I want to compliment what he wears, you know? Damn I should have organised this sooner."

"Well, we still have a week before prom, so no need to worry about that. Okay?" Josie tumbled lazily onto the bed.

Lizzie studied herself in the mirror, holding one dress against her, then the other.

"So, how did he asked you? Did he brought you flowers or something?" Josie glanced up at her from her phone.

"What?" Lizzie glared at her reflection.

"How did he asked you?"

"Ah, well," Lizzie's tongue darted across her lips

"you see, the thing is I asked him" Josie just looked at her sister with surprised and shocked face. Lizze knew what exactly her sister might be thinking.

"I know what you're thinking. But he was scared asking me out. He feared that I'll reject him. So I waited till the end of day for him to show up, but guess what..he didn't. So I, Lizzie Saltzman, kept my pride aside and asked him for prom."

"Oh"

‘Maybe Penelope is also scared? Yes ofcourse she will be scared. Hell even I'm sacred. I'm still not ready to come out. But that doesn't mean we can't go to prom together.’

“So Jo, what about you, have anyone asked you yet?”

She rolled her eyes at the stare she received from her sister.

“No, Liz” Lizzie's eyes glinted with curiosity.

“Oh! is there someone you are planning to ask?”

"No. I'm not" No, she decided, she wouldn’t spoil her plan, besides who knew if Penelope would even say yes! They both have kept their relationship a secret for a reason. And that reason involved homophobic students majority who never get tired of bullying.

"As you say" She nodded obviously sending the mischief her sister was planning, but thankfully not commenting on it.

Trini watches as her daughter sits on their couch playing the new video game Kim got her for her birthday.  When she opened it, Kim told her she was the only one she was allowed to play it with so that they could talk about the cryptids.  Kim said Trini would ruin it with facts. Trini sits down next to her as she finishes the next level.
