It was Thursday and I woke up with the pitter patter of the rain pouring outside. It was a calming sound to wake up to and it actually helped with not being cranky so early in the morning. I didn't know exactly what woke me up. It wasn't my alarm clock because I know I wasn't rudely awakened by some annoying blaring sound from my phone.
That night about five weeks ago ended up without having to confront Tom...
I was able to muster up the strength to ignore them the whole time and tried to focus on third wheeling Martin and Justin. Fortunately, it wasn't that hard as both boys wanted to sit next to me so it was decided that I sat in between both of them. Martin said it was to make up for lost time and Justin reasoned that it was to get to know his boyfriend's best friend better. I didn't argue because I was all for whatever would distract me from the couple behind us.
Regardless of how I was to knowing Justin, I couldn't help but act and feel as if we've known each other as long as I've known Martin. That meant that we were actually comfortable around each other.
"Ugh, Jay, why the hell did you pick this movie? I mean, I admit some of these scenes are hot, but those lines from Christian? They're so fucking awkward!" Justin whines, whispering it close to my ear.
I chuckled internally and shook my head. "Well, at least now I know that the movie is just as bad as the book!" I reasoned in a hushed voice so no one else would be disturbed from being unusually turned on inside the theater. I shivered at the idea.
We continued to watch the movie and were progressively unsatisfied by the plot development. We also criticized the personality of the lead woman and how stupid she really is. We all tried to hold back laughs multiple times throughout the duration of the movie and all that happened without Tom slipping back inside my head.
At some point in the movie, Justin leans over across from me so he can whisper to Martin's head. "Hey, babe, we should try that when we get home tonight!" he suggested and I almost gagged when his words were finally processed inside my head.
Okay, I lied, I was oddly turned on by the idea of Martin and Justin trying out some of the scenes in the movie, but I will not admit that to them! Martin may be my best friend, but he also used to be one of my crushes. No, I didn't really stop being attracted to him, but I shut out all the chances of something happening between us when he finally started to become more comfortable with his sexuality around people.
I was his first boy crush and I rejected him because I wanted to be with someone else who was just pretending to actually like me. Who was I to demand his affections for me again as soon as the guy I chose ditched me? I had no right and so I didn't. Martin was new to the gay side of life and I couldn't hold him back from wanting someone else.
Eventually, that was what happened. He found Justin who's too fucking adorable for his own good. Justin is tall, sure, but he was so adorable that I get confused as to who tops in their relationship.
I know I'm being a creep by fantasizing about another couple's sex life, but hey who wouldn't think about those things when they see how hot Martin and Justin are together. I would definitely not turn down a threesome with them if they ever ask me if I want to.
Every now and then I would hear a growl from behind us but then my attention would be pulled away from the noise again when either Justin or Martin had a comment on what was going on in the film.
