It wasn't particularly necessary for the blood work to be done to ascertain if the kids were truly theirs, but seeing as they were born outside the realm and were disconnected from their dragons it was difficult to find a bond, all they had was the resemblance between them.

Finally they had taken the blood from Tesla and Keem, now left with Ella who clung unto Ahaziel like he was her life line.

The boys had laughed at their sisters cowardice but the men understood that she was absolutely terrified of niddles hence the reason Ahaziel had released the sleeping breath into her as soon as he spoke to her, thankfully she had slumped in his arms, allowing the physician take her blood and heal the spot as well.

Once that stage was over, Azaziel had wiped their memories about the blood work and carried the now sleeping kids up to their rooms before they walked back to the living room were they waited patiently for the physician to work his magic and give them some result.

To their utmost amazement the result had returned at a ninety nine point nine percentage that the kids were theirs,  they had been truly happy with this new addition to their lives but they also felt deeply guilty for all the pain they must have put Their rider through.

They had sworn that they would spend the rest of their lives showing her how much they truly loved her.

"I thought I would never see you again "
Her beautiful voice rang through the house when in reality she was just a couple of stairs away from them.

Now that they were staring up close at her, they realized that so much had changed in such a long time, she was no longer the immature female who did things just because her friends dared her to.

    "How come you remember? "
Was  Ahaziels reply, who could blame his curiosity,  the young woman had been so wasted its a miracle she remembered her own name.

"I slept with two men I had never seen before mostly because they stood out to me even in my drunken state, of course I would remember "
Was her sharp reply before taking slow steps towards Azaziel who stood awe struck by the female before him.

   "why did you leave?"
She asked a little too calmly for comfort.

"The plan was to sign some papers and return to you, unfortunately more things came up and by the time we could come back for you we'd been told that you left everything and everyone and that no one knew of your whereabouts "

"I'm trying my best to stay calm, to be as emotionally stable as possible so I'm going to ask you once."

     "What. Are. You ? "
Was her next question still standing confidently
in the same position.

Ahaziel was usually a very fearless King, he believed that in all the realm nothing and no one could rival him and his brother in strength or in wealth, they were both men so beautifully created, words could never completely define them,  So naturally it was surprising how now that he was stood in the presence of the woman who was supposed to be his strength,  Ahaziel was so close to bolting put of the room.

He wasn't used to such a silence, such calmness and worse of all such confidence in any of the women in all the lands.  But that's where it all laid bare to him.

This wasn't just any woman, this was his blood rider, his mate, the blood of his blood and the breath of his life,  this was the only woman who could tame them without exacting any form of stress.

This was the mother of two sons and a fiesty daughter.   Their children and they knew that they would raise hell on earth if so much as a spec of dust settled wrongly on her feet.

    "We are dragon shifters"
Was Azaziel's reply.

It was obvious Ahaziel was taken too long and their mate was really going to loose her shit soon.

They had committed enough transgressions against her already,  there was no need to add to the list.

"Brother, you could have broken it down a little less straightforwardly"
Ahaziel said in the link he shared with his brother.

"And risk been at the receiving end of  pending anger and venge?"
Azaziel replied before mentally groaning because she still hadn't said anything.

   "Princess please say something"
Azaziel pleaded softly

     "Okay."
Was her soft reply before she walked past them and went towards the kitchen as though she wasn't just told something so weighty.

    "Okay?"
Ahaziel questioned with a tilt of his head while Azaziel followed right behind her.

     "Okay."
She replied before turning and elegantly rummaging through the cupboards.

The King's at this point where confused but by now they learnt that she wasn't the type to speak unless necessary and as it stood, the conversation was clearly over for now.

They had wronged her and the last thing they needed was to be the reason she would get upset in that moment..

    "Okay"
They both replied, still watching her focus so much on what she was making.

Looking at her now,  they could see how much she had changed.

She was no longer the tiny, careless young woman who seemed not to want much out of life.
Motherhood seemed to have molded her into the amazing, matured and strong woman she had become.

They just needed to work towards been a part of her journey every step of the way.
