chapter 20

The last day.....

It was the last day of the given time by Krist's father. Singto and krist were nervous would be an understatement. Both the boys haven't talked since morning, they just feel uncomfortable in any and every position. Krist father hasn't come out of his room since morning and Krist's mother is roaming all around the house trying to lighten the mood

"Krist, singto" krist's mother called

"Yes mom" krist replied

"Yes aunty" singto replied

"Come here both of you, I need a help" Krist's mother said

Both the boys walked towards the kitchen and found Krist's mother standing there with a lot of food, different kinds of delicious dishes

"I need help in finishing this, can you?" Krist's mother asked chuckling

"Mom!" Krist chuckled

"I will" singto said laughing

The three of them sat down on the dining table

"Don't worry kids, your dad will choose what's best. Behaving like a zombie won't help" Krist's mother said

"But mom, I can't help but feel scared" krist said

"And all my thoughts are negative aunty, not a single one of them is positive" singto admitted

"I have an idea, your father will however announce his decision tomorrow, so even if you bang your heads on the wall it will be of no use. Both of you go and take an afternoon nap to relax" Krist's mother suggested

Both the boys nodded

After having the extra lunch, all of them walked to their rooms

"What will happen tomorrow p?" Krist asked

"I don't know kit, I hope its all good" singto said

Krist quickly clmbed on the bed laying beside singto, as he wrapped his hand around the olders waist and his head on the other's chest

Singto smiled at the warm feeling as he embraced his kit too, krist snuggled more into the warmth and singto only chuckled

"What are you laughing for?" Krist asked

"Seeing you behave clingy makes me laugh" singto said

"You don't want me to be clingy?" Krist asked pouting

"Not at all, I love it when you act clingy" singto said pecking Krist's pout

"I would do that even if you won't like it" krist said grinning

"Take a nap now, and let me too" singto said as he closed his eyes

Krist pouted, he wanted to continue talking. He wasn't sleepy at all, but singto looked sleepy and so left with no other option krist snuggled a little more closer if possible and closed his eyes. In a matter of minutes both of them were already in their dreamlands

"Are you sure?" Krist's mother asked

"There is nothing else I can do" Krist's father replied

"I just don't want you to regret your decision" Krist's mother said

"Let's see, I hope they don't let me regret my decision. I hope singto doesn't let me regret it" krist's father said

"And what if he did?" Krist's mother asked

"Then I will accept that I failed as a dad" Krist's father replied

Krist's mother sighed and so did her husband. Both of them then decided to take an afternoon nap just like the boys.......

Every one in the house was hoping for a better future...
