I woke up and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. Kinko was probably eating her food, so I got out of bed and got in my normal day cloths. The dream I had yesterday went through my head as I walked outside. I stopped halfway through the door. I went back inside and put my bows and arrows on. I walked down again and saw my Father.
"Dad, I'm gonna go on a walk for the day. I'll be back by dinner time. I hope." I said to him. He got up and looked down to me. He set his hand on my shoulder and I looked up to him.
"Good luck out there, my little Lily." He said to me. I did this every week and I was going earlier than normal.
"Thanks, Dad." I said to him. He nodded and I walked out the door. My father stood at the rim of the door and watched as I walked past the houses and into the valleys. It got colder as I walked on, winter was close. I stopped, not far from the valley where Randal and I train and looked up. Snow fakes began to fall down.
I got back to walking. My legs didn't stop, no matter how cold I got. I walked on and on. Everything became familiar to me. The three trees near a giant rock. I sighed and walked to the top of the rock, my hair had white flakes in it and getting heavy with them. I pushed my hair, making it wet with the flakes as they melted. My hair turned a darker blue that it normally was and my pointed ears stuck through my hair as it became wet. I rubbed my hands together to warm them up. I looked up and saw a village not too far off. I felt something grab my arm and tumble me down into the sloap that the rock hid, I screamed as I fell down. My arrows fell off my back and landed a few feet away from where I landed on my back with someone or something on top of me. I opened my eyes to see a human above me with a dagger facing my heart. It was the boy.
I starred into his eyes, fear weld up in mine. He had a look of fear on him too. My hand started to twitch in fear and hunger. I looked to the dagger in his hand.
"A-are you really going to try and kill me?" I asked him. I was scared, I felt like I was going to die. He shuffled his hands to keep a grip on the dagger. He seamed nervous. I looked him in the eye, still scared.
He closed his eyes and started shaking as he lifted his hands with the dagger clenched in it higher. The one time I wish that I tool Randal with me. My eyes shook as I watched him bring it up. He stopped and sighed, he tool one hand off the dagger and his hands went to the snow. His eyes were closed and I shuffled out of his grasp and gathered up my arrows that had scattered away from each other. We both got up and I looked him in the eye, fear still wend up in his when he opened them.
"Please, don't kill me for not killing you." He said to me. His eyes were the same, almost black. I stepped closer, I hid my fear in anger.
"Kill you! I just came here on a walk and you almost killed me!" I yelled to him. He flinched with his dagger and I caught his hand, it might have looks like I was going to kill him because the dagger was facing him.
"Danny!" I heard a female yell in shock and I felt something slide on my side and I heard a clank of metal on stone. I let out a yowl of pain and I let go of the boy and fell down, clenching onto my side. When I saw his face before I fell, he seamed shocked.
"What was that for? She wasn't going to attack!" He yelled to someone. I felt his hand come down and I clutched my side in pain. I felt tears leaking down my cheeks from the pain in my side. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you're alright." He whispered to me.
"She had a dagger in her hand and held it to you!" The female yelled.
"I was the one with the dagger!" The boy, who I believe was named Danny, responded to the girl. I heard footsteps step around and come closer, but I kept my eyes closed. "Leave her be!" He yelled to the footsteps, I heard them step back once.
"Danial, I only want to help her now." She said lightly.
"Well, I don't want you near her." He scolded to her and he looked back to me. I felt his hand brush my cheek, wiping away my tears. I heard the female's footsteps go away and I felt Danny trying to sooth me. I opened my eyes and saw him crouching down next to me, with his arm stretched out to my side, right beside where mine was.
I held onto myself when a stab of pain came and I moaned slightly as I closed my eyes, but he seamed to sooth my pain again.
"It's okay, let me see." He told me. I lifted my hand and blood was stained on my hand and my side. he grabbed something from his belt, that had many things resting on it, and I felt cold water run down my waist. I opened my eyes as the pain seamed to go away. "The cold will numb it, but the rest will heal on its own." He muttered to me.
I opened my eyes again and sat up, he helped me stay up when I was about to fall. He made sure I was alright. I tried to get up, he still made sure I didn't fall. When I grabbed my arrows and got them on, I looked to him and he looked to me. He held out his hand and gave a slight smile.
"Danial Wright. Er, human." He said to me. I smiled back at him.
"Lilyana Fitzpatrick, elf." I responded to him. I shook his hand and he looked to the ground and blushed lightly.
"My friends and my sister call me Danny. Although my parents call me disaster zone." He said. I smiled at him.
"My friends call me Lily or Cala. My parents call me Litny Rorady, or as you would say it, Little Warrior." I said to him, he looked up to me and smiled.
"We should meet up later." Danny said to me. I nodded.
"We should. Meet me in the field not far from here tomorrow." I said to him. He nodded to me.
"Noon?"
"Sure." I said, I then shuffled my arrows and walked up the rock and onto the rest of the way.
I walked the path that I took to get where I met Danny, my side ached now from where I was cut. But I kept walking. The cold snow started to melt around me when I was close to the field, but I could only see a slightly familiar face through the snow. I fell down, my body was freezing, I could hear my heart beating in my ears. I looked up and saw Randal and his two dogs running to me. Everything got blurry, when I fell down to my side everything was slow going and I closed my eyes and passed out, not knowing what my fate would be when I woke up again.
