Wrong Number

Chapter 10

Brooklynn's POV

I pulled away from the kiss when breathing became a problem. I looked up and billie was just staring at me. "Hi." I whispered. "Hi." She smiled. "How was your interviews?" I asked. "It would've been better if you were there." I saw her frown a bit.

"But other than that they were fine just the same old questions, how was...the mall with your friends?" She asked. "It was pretty good, Khloe was acting weird though." She raised and eyebrow at me.

"How?" She asked. "Well she was just not talking to me, she would talk to Noah from time to time but not me. It's like she was mad at me for something." I shrugged as I took my shoes off and sat on billie's bed.

Billie did the same and sat next to me. "Well I can talk to her if you want." She asked. Wait she knows Khloe? "You know her?" I asked. "Yeah, I met her at a party a while back. She was drunk and I was helping her get back home and-." She paused.

Her face turning into a surprise look. "What?" I asked. "Uh n-nothing, I-I just helped her get home and...made sure she was ok...yeah." Why did she become nervous all of a sudden. "Uh ok?" I said more of a question.

"I wanna take you somewhere tomorrow." She said after a while of silence. "Um where are we going?" "A surprise mamas." I smiled and nodded. She pulled me on her lap and I laid my head down on her shoulder.

Billie's POV

I don't wanna hurt her feeling but what I said about Khloe wasn't true. Yeah the drunk part was true but the part where I said she was ok was a lie. If I told her the truth she'll be upset. The truth is that Khloe was talking about this anonymous girl who was depressed and she was tired of her blah blah blah.

At the time I didn't know Brooklynn or who she was talking about. When she was saying stuff like 'I wish she would just off herself already' and 'she just wants attention' I just told her that she shouldn't say that.

She just said whatever and then fell asleep. I also forgot to check Brooke's arms. "Hey mama." "Yea." She whispered. "Um can I see your arms." She sat up and held out her arms. I lift up her sleeve and saw there were no new cuts.

I smiled and looked into her eyes. "I lo- like your eyes." Shit did I almost say I love her. Wait I love her? I have to talk to Finneas. "Uh." She chuckled. "I like your eyes too." She smiled. "I think we should get some sleep now." I said.

"Yeah I'm pretty tired." She said. I laid down and Brooke laid next to me. I cuddled up into her and kissed her forehead. "Goodnight beautiful." I whispered. "Goodnight." She mumbled.

Brooke went to sleep a while ago, I on the other hand can't sleep. What If Khloe was talking about Brooklynn. I slowly pulled away from Brooke trying not to wake her. I quietly walked to Finn's room and gently knocked on the door. I opened the door to see him rubbing his eyes.

"Billie what the hell it's like 4:32 in the morning." I sighed and sat at the end of his bed. "Yes I know, but I really have to talk to you, and I can't sleep." I said truthfully. "Fine what is it." I groaned.

"Can you at least sound like you're listening." He sighed. "Fine." "Ok um I think I'm in love with Brooke, and before you say anything yes I know it's to early." He sat up and looked at me with the biggest smile on his face.

"What." I chuckled. "I don't think it's to early bil, I'm happy that you found someone you really like, have you even asked her to be your girlfriend yet?" I shook my head. "I'm going to ask her tomorrow, I have something planned."

"We have a meeting and a couple of interviews tomorrow." "Shit I forgot. Well It's gonna be fast so." He nodded. "Do whatever bil, but I'm going back to sleep." I nodded and walked out of his room closing the door.

I walked back in my room and saw Brooke sitting up just staring at the...wall? "Brooke you ok?" I asked quietly." She snapped out of her trance and looked at me. "Y-yea just had a dream." Her eyes started to tear up and I quickly walked over to hug her.

"Shh mama I'm here." She held on to me tight. "Please don't leave me." She whispered. "Mama I would never do that." We sat there for a while just hugging each other. After a while I heard light snores and I looked down to see brooke sleep.

I carefully laid down while pulling her on top of me. "Goodnight mama." I whispered and kissed her forehead.

I finished with my interviews and stuff and now I'm going to surprise brooke. She wasn't really in a good mood when she woke up, so hopefully she's excited about this. "Hey mamas." I said softly as I walked in my room with a bag of Taco Bell.

She was just laying down snuggled into a blanket. "Hi." She mumbled. "I um brought us some Taco Bell." "Thanks, but I'm not hungry." She mumbled again. "Oh ok, well I have a surprise for you."

"Bil you really didn't have to get me anything." She sighed. "I know but this is important." I sat on the end of the bed. She sat up a bit and looked at me. "I got us tickets to Hawaii." Her eyes lit up as a small smile creeped up on her face.

"Hawaii." She said excitedly. "Yeah." I smiled. She got up quickly and hugged me. "Thank you thank you thank you." She said excitedly. "You're welcome baby." I hugged her back. "We leave in a week so you should start packing maybe tomorrow." She pulled away from the hug.

She leaned in and smashed her lips to mine. I quickly responded and pulled her on my lap and held her by her waist. She pulled away and I smiled at her. "Thank you bil, you really made my day." She smiled.

"Anytime mamas."
