"i have a water bottle, and along with it is a packed sandwich and an apple. pretty simple, but we can apply a sticky note, saying that this lunch was packed by someone else. hopefully, he'll see it and take a drink of the water. we'll also apply the DMT in case if he takes a bit of the sandwich."

just as i had explained, i opened the water bottle and i poured a half of the DMT into the water. i closed the bottle, shaking it. i then opened the sandwich that was once mine but i didn't eat; and i poured a smaller bit of the DMT into the middle of it. i closed it again, and i placed the two things in the front of the door owada was in. i signalled for the other two to quietly return to the room we'd stayed in with caution. right as i had entered the room, i heard another door open. i panicked, peeping outside the door to see owada staring down at the lunch. he picked it up, but then i realised..

for god's sake; i forgot to place the note there too. oh well, he picked it up so there's a possibility he might take something.

i thought to myself. sonia and gonta glanced over at me, and i nodded. we waited patiently. i heard a buzzing in my pocket, and so i decided to take out my phone. i'd received a message from the hope's peak association team; specifically from kyoko and saihara. i read the message, but i didn't get enough time to read a warning they had on there before they began to call me. i gestured the two to remain silent, that it was the HPA team.

"hello."
"hello, i believe this is matsuo taiki from ******?"
"yes. you've gotten the right number. is this kyoko kirigiri?"
"yes. i have mr. saihara connected to this line. we would want to know what you, mr gokuhara and miss sonia have established in the past 1-2 hours."
"ah. alright. so, we've managed to safely get access inside of the building, however there was a slight complication at first. we discovered that owada's "boyfriend", i believe whom he calls taka, is planning to pull a celebration for their escape of hope's peak."
"that sounds utterly ridiculous."

"yes. at first, i said that to myself; but i heard him explain that everyone seemed to be under the weather or anxious, so he wanted to lift the spirits of them. we haven't fully gotten much information on everyone who has escaped— but judging on your side, you've discovered the students who have went missing, yes?"

"yes. a good few students have went missing. some of these students were very relevant to the school, but there were two particular students who has just went missing recently. byakuya togami and fuyuhiko kuzuryuu. for what we have gotten from the rest of the folks here in hope's peak, is that mr togami was dating owada. i had mr naegi and miss maizono tell me that."

"i see. thank you for that information. i will note it down. for now, i have planned to take an investment upstairs while the rest of the guys here are "celebrating" downstairs. i need to make sure there are no witnesses,– otherwise, our plan will fail. though, i do have a feeling something is about to go wrong in the next 2 minutes."
"and mind explaining what could go wrong?"
"...."

matsuo turned his head at the sound of coughing and gagging. the DMT has begun it's effect so soon. he cursed.

"shit. i need to hang up, however; i will try to get information off most folks here. i will explain everything after we're out of risks of being caught. thank you for this call, i will keep most information you have stated in mind."

"please be careful. we all depend of you three; especially you, matsuo."

matsuo gasped, nodding his head. he hung up the call, hesitantly placing the phone into his pocket. he stared at the wall, facing away from the other two. he could hear their voices being blocked out from his thoughts. he clutched his fist. for some reason; frustration was seeming to get to the best of him. he turned his head slowly to give gonta and sonia a deep, serious look.
