"FINALLY! We have an idea for our film!" Ibuki said, and victoriously started chugging her Monster Energy Drink.

"And just so we're clear, Skylar is our main character?" Thomas asked, pointing to his friend with a sleeve-covered hand. Ibuki nodded aggressively in agreement. "Yup, yup, yup! We're in film school and she still hasn't gotten over her fear of puppets, so she's a perfect fit for our main girl! Ibuki pays attention, you know."

Skylar rolled her eyes while taking a sip of her caramel iced coffee. She adjusted her black and white striped beanie, and sarcastically said, "Gee, thanks for stating the obvious."

"Oh, cmon! Lighten up, Sky," Thomas nugged her lightly. "Besides, it's not your fault you have Automatonophobia."

Skylar sighed. He was right. She's had the phobia since she was a kid and had to watch some creepy old-fashioned show. The characters seemed too realistic for her liking, not to mention all the times her mother took her to antique shops to look at old antique dolls, she always imagined every puppet she saw there coming to life and killing her right then and there. Skylar shuddered at the thought of the chipped dolls and puppets sitting and staring.

"I just want this over with so I don't have to face another one of those creepy demons you guys call 'cute entertainment for children' ever. Again." Thomas shook his head and adjusted his glasses with a smile on his face. "Ibuki thinks Skylar has major issues." Ibuki mumbled, and Skylar glared at her.

Thomas scratched the back of his head full of dirty-blonde hair.

"Well, maybe we should call it a day for now. We can set up a time to borrow the studio next time. We still need to make the puppet anyway." Skylar felt sick at the thought of the actual puppet they were going to use for their horror film.

Skylar Brookestone and her best friends, Ibuki Mioda and Thomas Cliff, had come up with the idea that their movie would be about a woman planning a puppet show for her kindergarten class. She would go to a garage sale and find a strange, very chipped, and broken cowgirl puppet with curly orange hair, pitch black voids for eyes, and was holding a plain vanilla ice cream cone. She buys it at a surprisingly low price, thinking she could just fix it up when she gets home. She ends up getting home later than expected and decides to leave the puppet in her garage so she can quickly grab it and fix it up the next morning. However, when she wakes up and goes to get it, it's no longer there. The film goes on of her trying to look for it, and she finally finds it standing on her bed, covered. In. Blood. She tries to fight it, but ends up losing, and it's supposed to end with the main character's lifeless body sitting in a pool of her own blood.

And Sky had to be the poor woman.

The Poor woman who lost to an evil piece of junk.

Yay...

A few more days pass and the trio finally heads into the studio to film. They see Nole and his walking totem pole of a friend, Sam come out of it with what seemed like a gigantic ball of black feathers.

"Hey, guys! How was your filming?" Thomas asked happily, while Skylar was still feeling nauseous at the thought of having to face a puppet for the sake of a good grade. "Ibuki hopes you did well!" spoke the energetic musician. "So am I the only one who noticed the huge feathery blob that Sam is holding in his hand like it's a stack of books?" Sky said, sounding like she could start puking her guts out at any moment.

Sam started, "Oh, this thing? It's the costume I wore for our film. It's about the huge animatronic black bird-" but Skylar cut him off with a finger to the tall man's lips and said, "Ok, please, stop speaking. I don't wanna hear about anything that isn't supposed to be alive, come alive until the day I die." She then made her way into the studio to see if she had enough time to calm down her stomach.
