after A LOt of plan changing and obviously with tanaka you KNOW it's stupid but it works

next day at karasuno:
like in his dream, nishinoya yuu went to school with a less pep in his step because he was n o t ready for what he was about to do.

he had no idea how to work it out and he didn't get enough practice in the span of 5 hours... that is until he passed out asleep on the floor writing scripts for his confession and all the reasons it could work out.

his anxiety was not having it but just as he was about to turn back and skip class, he bumped into the one and only, tanaka ryunosuke.

tanaka: YOYOYOOO WASSUP HOMIE JOE

noya: omg tanaka i'm so nevervous.. what if i screw up? what if he hates me and i ruin our friendship? what if he isn't even gay?

and so off noya went, mentally preparing himself for the disgust in asahi's face and waiting for him to probably never talk to him again.

honestly just thinking about it made him question if he was really going to go through with it. but after that rant tanaka went on about, he wasn't gonna give up without a fight. he never has and never will. and thats his promise to himself and the team to get he will never break.

and just like the vision predicted, daichi offered bbq if they practiced on their week points. they obviously worked their asses off but kageyama and hinata never shut the hell up and tsukki and yams are just cuddling under the benches probably listening to a dinosaur podcast. honestly seeing all this cringe but cute couple shit made noya feel a bit better about him and asahi, it made him get enough motivation to do something this stupid. but tanaka would never let his bro down.

noya: hey! asahi!
asahi: yes noya?
noya: so i was wondering.. if you could help me with something..
asahi: oh, yeah ofcourse noya! anything for you^^

noya's heart fluttered as those words left asahi's lips. he grew more and more confident as they kept talking and soon enough it was time for tanaka's somewhat smart plan to go into play...

asahi pulled up to noya's house and knocked on the door. opening the door, stood noya with his hair down a comfy hoodie and some saggy jogging pants.
to be completely honest, asahi thought it was cute as hell. he always had feeling for the smaller boy but he never knew if it was ok for boys to like boys. or even if noya was gay. he just stood there admiring noya's beauty before noya snaps him out of his trance.
