His apartment was bigger than usual. The walls were grey and the room had a lack of light but I loved it. It was furnished to modern standards with slick black couches and a small kitchen area I was walking around when I noticed his bedroom. "Umm... Tay you might not want to go in there I live like a dog." He turned red when he noticed the silly pun. "I know Derek!" I laughed and pushed against the door revealing this large bedroom.
It had red, silk curtains and a king sized bed with a black duvet. A tv was directly in front of it. A large flat screen. "Derek... how did you get this much money?" I asked astonished. "It helps if you're the only one left in your family and you inherit it all." His looked away and I realised he was hurt. I glanced out the window. "I'm sorry." His smiled returned. "Don't be. Come let's get you something to eat."
He led me into his kitchen and made pancakes for him and I. For an animal he eats well. I took a large bite into my pancake and said with my mouth still full. "Don't you guys eat deer and stuff?"

We talked for an hour just there on the spot and got to know each other. He told me about Isaac and when he was bitten. He also told me he had a pack. Isaac, a girl called Erica and a boy called Boyd. They were Isaacs best friends but both were dead now so that ending our conversation.
Instead we watched "Dracula Untold" and he babbled on and on about how people believe vampires are real and that they are so silly... during he day we both fell asleep. Me, with my head on his lap and Derek, sprawled a cross the couch. It was peaceful and calming Until Isaac walked in.
"Octavia! Get up. " said Isaac grumpy. Derek woke with a fright and stood up quickly noticing how close we were. He cleared his throat. "Isaac were weren't doing anything but watching a movie." Isaac glared at him, it was sweet that he cared for me but now... I don't know. "You may have been my alpha but you will NOT be hers!" Isaac said right into Derek's face. He looked hurt and almost afraid. I mumbled thank you to Derek and looked away quickly leaving the loft. "Oh and Derek, if you hurt her I will rip out your throat with my teeth, I'm not scared to hurt an omega." Isaac followed behind.
The car ride home was endless. Isaac rambled on and on about how I must be careful around boys and all that. But I couldn't think about it at this moment because I saw something in the Bush next to the road. Red eyes.
I need to see what that... "Isaac stop the car?" "What?" "Isaac!" I grabbed he door handle and he quickly braked. I leaped out of the car and sprinted for the woods next to us. Isaac yelled something in the distance and I knew he was gaining on me with his wolf speed but I didn't care. Whatever that was had caused my car accident.
The eyes seemed to get further as it lured me into the woods.
I ended up in a section I could not remember. Isaac was nowhere to be seen. And in front of me stood a wolf (not like a werewolf) this was a massive black furred wolf twice the size of a regular one. It snarled at me but I stood dead still. Paralized. It charged at me all I remember was pain. Huge amount of pain swimming through my veins. Claws in my neck and teeth on my shoulder. I was bitten. I was one of them.
