"You alright there? You took a little... thwack."
Yoohyeon looked up but there was nobody there. Just white lights that blinded her.
"Hey. It's me, Alex. You know the guy that plummeted in the middle of a road and had to go to hospital. I'm now in a wheelchair."
Yoohyeon opened her eyes slowly to find the cute black haired boy smiling at her. He had his hand on her wrist and removed it.
"What have you given me?" She brought her arm in front of her to see a colourful bracelet made from many strands of thread and gold beads.
"I made it when I was bored. Nobody else wanted it and I didn't expect you to wake up so soon."
Yoohyeon smiled, "I like it. It's very pretty."
Alex lit up, "I'm glad. I'll let you rest." He turned his chair around while making strange little squeaks as he left the room.
As he vanished down a long white hallway another person arrived in the room. It was a basic hospital room where she was sat on a plain blue bed. She looked around and saw that she wasn't attached to any machinery but there was a white cast on her left arm.
"What happened?" She asked JiU.
JiU looked down sadly, "SuA disappeared. And after you and Gahyeon tried to get her back the mist came and you got injured."
Yoohyeon looked around, her arm was injured. She removed the cast to find a large gash. She turned away.
"It's a big cut but I'll be fine. Where are the others?"
"In a room nearby. But I think you should rest first."
Yoohyeon shook her head and chuckled, "I'm fine and what have I just been doing?"
"Sleeping."
Yoohyeon sat up using her right arm as support. She winced as she moved her left arm and put it across her chest.
"Let's go. I don't use my arms to walk."
They arrived in a room with so many boxes piled near the entrance that it was hard to believe there were three bunk beds inside. Only three were occupied with a sleeping woman. The fourth woman was on the floor staring at the ceiling.
"Siyeon?" JiU asked.
She looked up, "Hmm?" Then at the bed beside her, "Oh, I must have fallen out."
"And you didn't decide to get back in?"
Siyeon shook her head. "Anyway, where to now?"
"I was thinking we could tag along with the twins. They're going to a festival tomorrow."
"And today?" Dami asked.
"Jobs. There's some nearby that should give us money. Though there won't be enough for all of us."
"What will the rest of us do?" Gahyeon asked.
JiU thought, "Rest. Talk, pretend you're on a holiday trip with friends."
"We could play cricket!" Siyeon suggested.
The others shook their heads but Yoohyeon nodded. "I'm down for that."
Siyeon grinned and looked at her arm, "But you're injured. You could play but only use one arm."
Yoohyeon shrugged, "Well I can catch a ball with one so I'll field. I can still play."
So cricket it was when they woke again at 2pm. Rise and shine my lovelies.
The day was as sunny as before. It made them wipe their foreheads, squint as the ball came for them and run for a glass of water every ten minutes.
JiU went off after she batted leaving the five in the roasting heat. It wasn't until they'd all batted twice did they realise she was gone.
"I thought we were supposed to stay together?" Dami asked.
"It should be fine. If anything happens she'll call us." - Gahyeon.
The others nodded and played on. Siyeon hit the ball far and wide. It took Dami running as fast as she could as the ball bounced in front of her. After a few grasps of air she caught it. And then she stayed still, staring at it as if it told her future. She shook her head.
"What did you see? Did you hear something?" Siyeon asked.
Dami shook her head, "I just have a bad feeling about something that's it."
"Handong." Siyeon called her forward and she put her hand on Dami's shoulders.
Dami smiled and laughed in annoyance, "Think you can just make me happy whenever you want do you?"
Siyeon nodded, "If you're happier, then we'd all be less gloomy. We should think positive."
Dami laughed, "Yeah, I think that could work."
A large gust of wind blew Dami and Handong apart. Dami was no longer smiling, her eyes had gone sullen and she glared at Siyeon.
"What? You're scaring me."
Dami came forward and pushed her to the ground. The others stood in shock.
"Dami no!" Yoohyeon came between them holding out both of her arms.
But the younger woman ignored her. She pushed Yoohyeon's hand out of the way. Yoohyeon winced, it was her left arm still injured. She rolled forward clutching it. Maybe cricket was a bad idea.
Handong pulled Dami back which calmed her for a moment. Then they were somewhere else, stood by a cutesy looking sweet shop.
"What..." Handong began.
"JiU." Dami noticed the woman stood behind a counter chatting happily to an old lady.
The second their eyes met, JiU gave Dami a scowl. Dami laughed and the two headed inside.
JiU turned towards Handong. She was back to chatting happily with a bright grin on her face, "What can I get you? The macarons are a speciality. And the chocolate cake."
"I was thinking something more private." Handong looked out at a door behind her, "a cheese muffin perhaps?"
JiU pursed her lips, "We don't sell those at the moment. You could wait half an hour? Just stay close by."
Handong nodded and grabbed Dami's hands behind her back as if she was a criminal being caught by the police.
The two waited patiently. Dami began to tap her feet on the ground providing a nice beat to which she swayed her head to.
"Da da da. Oh Woah!" She yelled.
Handong looked at her strangely, what the heck was happening? And then Dami burst into a rap.
