Chapter quote: "Sisters function as safety nets in a chaotic world simply by being there for each other." Carol Saline
At the age of twelve my life had finally gone into a routine.
On weekdays:
-Wake up at 7:30
-Get ready by 8:00
-Eat breakfast from 8:00 to 8:30
-Write poetry in my home office from 8:30 till 12:00
-Have lunch from 12:00 to 12:45
-Mail my poetry to Mslexia (using a fake address and identity, of course)
-Keep tabs on the Holmes kids and do things to make their future not have world ending consequences or that will get them killed until 17:00
-Keep tabs on and look out for my parents until 19:00
-Eat dinner until 19:45
-Read, watch TV, or simply think until 22:00
-Go to bed
Weekends are pretty much the same, except I use the time I use to write poems on weekdays for scouting the world for talent. And I found talent.
A few weeks after my twelfth birthday I found Marisa.
I went all the way to Congo to meet that amazing 9 year old girl who had no one in her life. She was alone. She had no family, no friends, no home, no hope, and no idea where to go.
I went to Congo as an "exchange student", found her, talked to her, and brought her to England.
She has amazing math skills, not as good as mine, but still way above average.
She was my new best friend and I was her's.
To help out she managed are bank account and did babysitting. On the weekends she helped me find more intelligent kids and teens that had nowhere to go.
When I was 14 and Marisa was 11 we found triplets who were 13 years old. One was called Tiago a nerd or bookworm as some would say, we chose him because of his great science and engineering skills. The other was called Gabriel and he was a very good hacker, that is how we had found them, he had made a tiny slip when hacking a bank to get money for himself and his siblings. The third triplet was Maria, she was a martial arts expert who got money for her family by wining street fights and pickpocketing.
They were orphans in Brazil who would end up badly in life if they continued the way they were going.
So me and Marisa had gone to São Paulo to get them. I knew how to speak Portuguese but Marisa only knew the basics o such as how to say "hi", "bathroom", and "water" so we'd have to stick together.
When we arrived in Brazil we first went to a bakery and got some food. I had a delicious sandwich, some mango, and a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice. I then got Marisa the same but with a cup of watermelon juice instead of orange.
After we were done with our quick meal we went to backstreets and alleyways looking for the Cardoso kids.
We found Tiago in our 32nd alleyway. He was the only one of the three who knew how to speak English so Marisa went up to him like we'd worked out and explained our proposal.
I continued going down the street and crossed Paulista Avenue (Avenida Paulista).
I turned into a back alley to see a fight going on, a teenage girl versus a grown man. She had him down in 2 minutes and 3 seconds.
