The Hufflepuff Princess

The First Night

After the sorting in the great hall. Every first year was escorted by their house prefect to their common room/dormitoy.

Our house prefect is Alice Wintergarden. She is extremely nice and also very welcoming. Just like you would expect from a hufflepuff.

I was shocked when she welcomed me the same as every one else with me beinga Malfoy and all.

I also met two other people in hufflepuff. Cedric and Elizabeth Diggory.

Elizabeth is a first year like me and insists we be best friends.

Cedric has just started his third year at Hogwarts. Although he seems very flirtatious towards me. Which I don't mind because he is quite a cute guy.

When we reached the common room we was greeted with a circular, brown, wooden door. And green vines wrapping its branches around the frame.

Then when we walked in we was greeted with a fireplace, books on herbology and charms and lots of plants. I felt like I was in my room at home.

I wonder how my Mum and Dad are without us their. Boy I miss them.

"Alright first years, to your left you have the girls dormitories and to the right you will find the boys dormitories. Four people per dorm. Choose who you want to share one with wisely as you will be stuck with them for seven years." she laughs. "I'm kidding. Go on get yourselfs to bed. Big day tomorow is for you lot."

I cose to be in a dormwith Liz (Elizabeth) and two other girls. Olivia Trelawney and Paige Pensworth.

Olivias Mum was Professor Trelawney she taught divinations here at Hogwarts.

They're both sweet girls.

The girls grabbed their luggage and were now just waiting for me to find mine.

"Bella! Don't worry I put your luggage in your dorm for ya." Cedric said kindly

"Thank you" I said whilst blushing.

Me and the girls were now on our way to our dorm.

"Wow. He would never do that for someone unless he really liked them." Liz said out of confusion because of her brothers actions.

I turned a deeper shade of red as we entered our dorm.

"Oh my God! You have a crush on Cedric!" She shouted shockingly.

"Shh. What if he hears you."

"Don't worry he won't. Also if you end up going out wuth my brother I won't mind because that would mean we would practically be sisters." she spoke whilst giggling with the others about my crush.

After a while they fell asleep.

Unfortunately, I was struggling to get to sleep. So I got a bit of parchment paper and wrote to my parents about my day.

I wish they was here though. I already miss them.

As I sent my owl. I yawned and went to sleep.
