Black Hole

I might still be learning
Each day getting better
Searching a new beginning
Everything not to remember

Yet every now and then
My chest feels empty again
There's no heart to strengthen
Only a black hole to gaze

Your name tends to come up
Whirling thoughts and minds
Mainly about giving up
About realizing why I'm so blind

I tried and I tried
But this gap just won't be filled
It feels like something died
And whatever's left crippled

Laughter, smiles and more
With you have long gone
I hope you're happy now
Enjoying them all on your own

I just wish you'd realize
I'm all that you need
But why fantasize?
When it's clear you don't even think of me

I'm told you're not the one
Then why do you still hurt so much?
You've left but your ghost's not gone
Maybe it's just time to let the fire catch

I hope one day you'll tell me
How it feels to be up there
Far away from me
As if I had never been there

Soon I'll be gone
And there'll be no joke
So I urge you to hurry
Before it's too late to worry
