"Ugh, Finally!" A Male 25 human says stepping out of what seems to be a portal. Harue Myriad is a time traveler, for as he can remember. He has finally made it back to the present time from a very long "mission" as he calls them. Not even he knows how a simple human like him has these powers, all he knows is that he has to stop the ones who wish to interfere with the timeline.
Taking off his boots and setting them in a small bucket, he goes to the guest bathroom and washes them off in the tub, then while letting them dry cleans up the mess he made in the main hall, Makes his way towards the kitchen, he hummed a tune he had heard while traveling. When he reached the kitchen he saw that there was not that much to eat. Take out it is, he thinks, going into the garage, he gets into his car and drives to the nearest Piripi. Once he reaches the restaurant he pulls up his hood and walks in.
"Well, Well, Well, Hello again Myriad."
"Hello Kairos," Harue greets, This was Kairos Riko, a friend of Harue. He is one of the only people who knows Harue can time travel as he had accidentally stumbled through one of Harue's portals ending up here in the present time. Though he was originally from ancient Avilon. Kairos had dark brown hair and Caramel colored eyes. After moving to the present, he liked wearing dual-colored hoodies, his usual outfit consisted of a blue and white hoodie, with the upper torso and hood being blue and the rest white. A purple headband, a white and purple sling bag, dark purple pants, black boots, and bandages on his arms, because it looks badass [in his opinion.]
"Would you like your usual or something different?" Kairos asks, smiling.
"The usual please," Harue says taking out his wallet.
"Boo. How boring." Marue scoffs as Kairos rings him up. He pays for it and waits to the side for the customers to order. He looks at all the other customers here, some were on first dates, some were hanging out with friends, and others looked like they were cramming every bit of information into their heads. He liked people-watching, yeah it's a bit weird, but it helped him fit in. He liked feeling he belonged, who didn't?
"Ay Yo, Myriads here, My shifts over!" Harue flinches at the sudden yelling and looks up to see Kai right in front of him holding out his food.
"Thought your shift didn't end till 9?" Harue questioned.
"Yes but I made a bet that you would show up at this time, and I have won that bet so the others will take care of my shift." Kai said proudly. "And guess who won the bet?"
"You?"
"Me! Your best friend in the world." He said, rapping an arm around Harue's shoulder.
"They could just say you left, Kai," Harue says,
"Nah they wouldn't they'd get in trouble for false reporting. Besides the boss loves bets and believes that if you pay up your end of the bet, then you shouldn't have made the bet in the first place. My normal shift ends in an hour so whatever." Kairos shrugs as Harue rolls his eyes. The two walked back to Harue's car which was parked out front, unlocking it the boys sat down in the car.
"Thanks for being such a bud for letting me out of work so early!" Kai said as they walked, They started eating and talking about normal stuff. "So how was your assignment?"
"Um... Interesting" Harue responds, "Ancient Avilon civilization. I did not blend in there at all." Kairos chuckled at his friend's predicament. The Ancient Avilon civilization was a place found in the sky many winged creatures such as angels and birds lived there. "See anything interesting?" Riko asked, Harue thought for a moment,
"Well not really, it was hard to fix a timeline, find and stop the culprit, and avoid being killed by Avilons as humans are not allowed there," Kairos nodded, "And I saw Aurum," Kairos's expression brightened.
"How is She?" Kairos exclaimed, Aurum was Kairos's older twin, he had tried to get Harue to bring her to the present, but he couldn't as she was an important part of the present's history. "Is she okay? Has she got a lover? It's not an annoying entitled person, is it? Do I have Nieces/Nephews yet? How old was she? How old are my-"
