Mondstadt Region, Teyvat

The bright rays of the ever-beneficent sun accompanied the wake of day for the people of Mondstadt, bringing forth a new daylight. To some, it was a call to action, to others, it was routine, and to some others, it was a beautiful eternity.

"Y~~~awn." A young boy's voice almost echoed through the peaceful atmosphere of a lively lake and soft forest, (Y/N) slowly rising from his makeshift bedding as he raised his arms to the sky, stretching as he let out a soft yawn.

"Man, that was a good nap." (Y/N) sleepily spoke, his tone drowsy as he slowly rubbed his eyes, taking a look around himself. A few boars in the distance running through the woods, a few deer picking at the grass beneath, squirrels climbing on trees with zeal, and the harmonious hymn of songbirds chirping in unison, a soft breeze rustling through the leaves and his hair.

"Waaahh..." (Y/N)'s lips trailed open, admiring the sight as his eyes shone, before a small smile formed on his face.

What a beautiful sight...

Minutes passed as (Y/N) enjoyed the soft hum of the morning breeze along with the chirping of the songbirds, before he opened his eyes once more, rising out of his bedding and to his feet.

"That was a wonderful morning." (Y/N) let loose a yawn into his palm, rubbing his eyes before glancing around his makeshift campsite.

His satchel remained by his bedside, (Y/N) grabbing it before attaching it to his side again, a smile gracing his face as he quickly tidied up his sleeping mat, rolling it up and placing it back into his satchel of infinite space...at least he assumed.

"Wonder what I should do today..." (Y/N)'s neon (e/c) eyes traced his campsite calmly, catching sight of the fishing rod that still lay against the rock, with his various catches strung over a small fire, his mouth momentarily watering.

"Mmmph, mmhph!" A tiny voice seemed to whisper throughout the campfire.

"What was that?" (Y/N) muttered to himself, looking all around the campfire, yet he saw no one.

"Must've been the wind." (Y/N) shrugged, before grasping one of the fishes with a stick he'd cleaned at the nearby clear lake, taking a bite as another of his "catch" watched on in horror.

"Mph! Mmmmphhh!" The tiny voice whispered again.

"...The wind feels really talkative today, huh?" (Y/N) gave an aloof smile, taking another bite of the fish, finishing it moments later as he went for another.

"Down the hatch~!" (Y/N) grinned, biting into the fish and savoring the flavor, sighing in content afterward. A beautiful morning and a great meal that wasn't berries. He already loved today.

"MMMMMMMPHHHH! MMMHPHHPH!" The wind yelled in his ear, (Y/N) recoiling as he looked around, before eventually catching sight of the cause of the wind's angered whispers.

"...Is that fish trying to talk? It does look a bit weird. Hm..." (Y/N) curiously eyed his latest catch, the small fairy-like creature he'd caught the night before, who hung beside the other fishes on the stick, her hands tied on the stick along with her legs, her mouth wrapped in cloth.

"MMMMMMPPPPPHHHHHH!" The same creature hissed angrily, (Y/N) skeptically looking it up and down, before he cautiously grabbed his stick.
