Khamsa Reynolds "Five""You knock."
"No you knock dumbass, you standing right in front of the door." Kelo said as he mugged me.
"I'm shy." I said stepping back from the door.
"You make me sick."
"Imagine how I feel." I mumbled.
We were at Tah's grandmothers house, ever since her fake ass auntie kicked her out she been holed up in here.
She just turned her phone off and shut everyone out, even Q.
Everyone's been tryna talk to her, see her and give her support so she could know that we care but it's hard when she ain't even entertaining us the slightest bit.
We respected that she wanted space and needed to be alone right now but after a while we just wasn't finna let her go through this rough patch alone.
Kelo rung the doorbell twice as we stood and waited for someone to answer.
The door swung open and it was Tah's grandma.
"Here again huh?" She said with a warm smile.
I smiled back before speaking.
"Yeah Ms. Barbara, even though the way she keep ignoring us ain't sitting right with me ian finna give up on her." I said as I stepped up and handed the bag of snacks we bought for Tah in my hand.
"Now your stupid ass ain't shy huh." Kelo said as he smacked the back of my head.
"Excuse my language." He quickly said as Ms. Barbara eyed him.
"You bout scary as hel- heck." I corrected myself.
"And don't hit me again nigga." I said bucking at him.
"Nigga don't buck at me the hell."
"You jealous of me? Because you always on me and I'm starting to think you jealous of me Kelo."
"Jealous of what? You don't even know how to read."
"I missed one road sign and suddenly I can't read, I hate black people." I said mumbling the last part.
"Bruh gon head Ms. Barbara waiting for us to go in and your peanut head ass pondering on why you can't read." He said pushing past me to go inside.
I just waved him off and went inside.
Shit maybe I can't read all that well, I sure can count allat money these muthafuckas be making me handle so fuck it.
"Chile I'm glad I ain't have no boys, y'all too much. Just come on." She said before walking away.
We followed her to the kitchen and smell of food instantly hit my nose.
Yessir perfect timing.
Ms. Barbara headed up the stairs to get Tah leaving us in the kitchen.
I looked back at Kelo and seen his goofy ass smiling from ear to ear.
"Your starving ass sure don't eat huh?" I asked him.
"Nigga you know my mama don't live nowhere near here and ion eat home cooked meals often."
"That's why you all sticks and bones nigga ion think I'm supposed to be seeing your ribs through a wife beater."
"Fuck you nigga you all muscle and still can't fight. You a be out here windmilling if you ain't have that stick bitch."
