Slip Up

We eat and laugh finding out we have a lot more in common than we thought.
We both would rather stay in the house chilling, love spending time with family, finding self love to be important avoiding the judgmental tendencies we can have towards ourselves, and how we love acting and find acting to have a deeper meaning than most would think.
Only I do better acting alone in my room, while she makes a living on screen.
I tell her about the times I'd watch movies unable to focus on the story itself but rather more focused on how much effort and skill it took to direct the movie and the actors ability to tell a story so well and what had been done to put themselves in the characters shoes.
She agreed with the actors important job in telling a story and how she's hard on herself to make sure that she can inspire and have a positive impact on someone through her work.

I compliment her on her work and ensure her that watching her has had a great impact on the confidence I have in myself and that I'm sure she has done a lot more for others as well.

As we finish eating I get a text from Jade asking where I'm at. I tell her I'm on my way and that I stopped to eat.

"Crap we're late we gotta go." I say.

I leave a 20 dollar tip for the waitress and we walk to the park.

"I have a question.." I say.
"Shoot"
"Forgive me if this is a bit intrusive but umm...actually nevermind."
"Awee man, no go ahead now I'm curious." She shoves my shoulder.
"Naw some things should just be left alone and plus I'm sure you're annoyed of that question by now anyways."
"Aw come on it's fine anything you want to know I'll answer."
I stare at her for a minute to look for doubt.
"You mean it?"
"Yes." She smiles.
"Okay..." I look down and think about whether I should really ask her such a dumb question or just mind my business.
"Heeeyyy.."she nudges me. "What is it?"
"Do you like Tom Holland? Like foreal foreal like Tom Holland?" I say quickly and cringe at the fact I actually said it.
"Yes. In fact we planned on getting married in Paris.."she said pronouncing Paris with emphasis.
I stare at her in shock.
She bursts out laughing. My eyes flutter in confusion
"You should see you're face!! Nooo. HAHAAA! I mean yes he's kind, caring, funny, not an asshole, a great person overall but, *looking down at her feet as she walks* that's in the past we've been there before it's just...we just got too busy for one another. Right now I can only see us as great friends who work together." She smiles.
"Awe.. to be honest all I could think was how do I get into the wedding!" I said making her laugh. "That's why you're an actress."
"Roight roight" She says as she flips her metaphorical hair.
"Maybe you'll find your way back to one another." Trying to lighten the mood.
"Maybe, I guess we'll just have to see huh."

We finally arrive at the park and I run up to Jade and hug her and say hey to Mike, Diamond and Georgia.
As I greet them, Zendaya comes walking up behind me and all of their eyes widen. Soon as I notice I back up to guard Zendaya.
"Guuuuuuyysss...chill."
Mike struggles to hold his breath as does everyone else. They huddle together and whisper to eachother. Zendaya and I look at each other in confusion chuckling.
Everyone turns back around to us smiling.
"Heeeyyyyy!" They say in a synchronous tone.
"It's so nice to meet you" Mike holds his hand out to greet her and she laughs.
"It's nice to meet you all as well you guys are great already" She shakes his hand.

"So what are we doing here?" I asked.
"Well we wanted to end this weekend with a bang and gift you for the opening of your business. Sooo..we made this." Georgia said.

They split out of the way to reveal a photo shoot set up.
"Woow! Guyys you did this for me?" I tear up.
"Awe that's so sweet." Zendaya says.
"Awwww Y/N don't cry" said simultaneously approaching to comfort me.
"I love you guys." I say fighting the urge to cry.

We all have a fun photoshoot together with bubbles confetti and costumes. Zendaya teaches us some of her modeling techniques and her ways to pose. It was an well enjoyed afternoon for all of us.
Diamond suggested we all go out for dinner after we cleaned up to end the day.

We all decide on dining at Seasoned Vegan and Zendaya calls her driver to take us there.  Darnell calls and checks in on her as the rest of us continue inside.

"Is this real? Like are we really having a day out with a celebrity?" Georgia whispers as she fans herself.
"How'd you even become friends with her? I thought they just took pictures and signed autographs and forgot about you?" Diamond asks.

A waiter brings everyone their drinks

"Well I don't know about her. She's different. Plus I offered her to be a client of Shutter Mound."
Jade screams quietly, "aahhh I'm so proud of you biiitch." "Moving on up bitches wooo!" said Mike

Zendaya joins us and I make a speech thanking everyone for their contributions to the company.

"Cheers everyone. To us!!" I hold my glass in the air.
"CHEERS" We all say and clink our glasses.

We all finish up our dinner getting to know one another more. Spilling secrets and Zendaya cracking jokes all night.

"Dude this is one of the best nights I've had in a while. Never would've thought, as a couple of fans, we'd be dining with you Zendaya. Thank you for using your time off to spend it with us." Diamond said while holding her chest and raising her glass.
"Well I had to meet the wonderful friends of this girl right here haha! Yunno she couldn't stop speaking of you guys!"

The waiter brings our refills but loses hold of the glasses. Glasses shatter bringing the customers attention onto Zendaya all whispering asking if it's her.

The waiter cuts their hand trying to clean up and suddenly I feel a loss of coherence. I look towards Zendaya trying to focus on her when I notice her eyes beginning to turn.

"Um..are y'all okay?" Jade asks. Diamond and Georgia help the waiter clean the glass.
"Did you guys smoke a blunt without us? How could you smoke without us!?" Mike said.
"She doesn't..smoke." I slurred as I tried to gain control.
Looking back at Zendaya, she returned to her normal self but I still struggled. My teeth began to crack and cut my lip and I could taste the blood from it which just made me hunger for blood even more. My breathing began to roughen as Zendaya grasped my hand.

"Hey I think we should go. Darnell did say he wanted to talk business with you right? Yea! It was so nice meeting you guys!" She yanks me from my seat and sprints us out the door.

"Awe so soon?" Georgia said with a frown.
"Oh—yeah nice meeting you too!" Jade said.
"Byeee!!" Mike said, "I love you so muuuch." He whispered then faints into Diamonds lap tipping her drink.
"UGH—Michaeelll!! Get off—"Diamond says as her voice and their laughs become distant and overwhelmed by the city life.
