"Alrighty, here is your meal dear and... here is yours young sir" the waitress said as she winked. "Anything else you might need?" She asked.
"Not right now, thank you"
"Okay then, if you need anything, I'm right here" and with that she left.
Throughout the whole time she couldn't keep her eyes of the waitress, she thought she was cute and very pretty, but she was way off of her lead. She wanted someone who was determined and strong yet kind and sweet.
The waitress was just one half of it.
Oh well.As Marylin ate her food, she noticed that the baby was playing with his Dino nuggets. Marylin laughed at the sight of it. She started to get context clues out of it. Soon her head was filed with thoughts..
If the baby can't walk, but crawl, he must be old enough to be just a couple months.
He can kind of eat his Dino nuggets by himself.
He can't talk, just 'goo goo gaga'
He kind of understand me and others around him..
So.. he has to be less than a year... maybe 8 months old.
Makes sense I guess. After sometime if zoning out an eating, her thought were interrupted by the young waitress again.
"Hey there, would you like me to bring the receipt?" She asked.
Marylin nodded and the waitress left.
As Marylin reached over her bag to take out her wallet, the waitress called for her again.
"There it is. I'll take your plates, excuse me"
Marylin took out a $50 bill and waited for her to return. As the young lady returned she gave her the money and received her cash back.
"Have a lively day ma'am. And you, young sir, take care of your momma okay? She will always love you. Bye bye now" she said as she waved at them goodbye.Marylin walked out with the baby still in her arms. She took him to the car and sat in the back with him. Baby Mike was just wondering what she was thinking, he was curious why she wasn't starting the car nor why she wasn't in the drivers seat.
"I think we can go for a little shopping, just temporary until you stay with me. I'll be needing a car seat for sure" she giggled as she looked at the box in which Marylin found him in.Baby Mike clapped as agreeing to what she was saying, since he couldn't talk of course.
Marylin grabbed her bag again and took out a piece of paper and pen.
"I'll write down what we need for you and around the house, since I am no babysitting genius" she said.
The list was longer than she thought it would be. It just went on and on:
- car seat
- stroller
- baby food
- milk
- chew toys
- clothes
- shoes
- diapers
- wipes
- baby nail clipper
- pacifier
- blanket
- more toysThat was just the baby stuff. She still needed her groceries and appliances. Oh well. She'll be spending a fortune today.
She folded the paper and tucked it in her back pocket. She got out the car from her side, then opened the door to baby mikes side and picked him up out for he car.
"You ready?" She asked playfully.
He giggled in response. She loved when he did that. It really made her day bearing a child happy. She walked inside the store and pulled out a cart. She sat baby Mike in the front and buckled him up so that he would fall.
This was Michael's first time going to the store in public without a scandal.
He loved it.
He always has to be escorted by the police and security plus fans screaming at him and following him everywhere he went.
He didn't want to seem rude but, it was a nightmare.
Michael noticed how people were minding their business. The thought if no fans, no security made him happy. Obviously he was in a babies body, but all of this environment was new to him. And he loved it.
His joy was inter interrupted by martial king to herself.
"So, the car seat is for new born... and this one is for toddlers.. which one is good for him?" She said. She was debating endlessly between two, eventually she got the newborn one. She didn't want him to get hurt, so just for safety measures she picked out the best one.
Marylin asses the box it was in, inside the cart. It took too much space, but it was okay.
She then grabbed a stroller and also added it into the cart.
Michael saw how she was adding a crazy amount of stuff for him. He felt bad for her, she was wasting money on him. He didn't want that. He wanted to be the one to pay for everything but his stuff was back at the studio. He couldn't just wobble over there.
It's weird. After some time, they were done. Marylin laid for everything and the both left to the car. She unpacked the car seat and placed it on the back of the car. She then carried baby Mike and placed him inside.
"How does that feel?" She asked him as she buckled his seatbelt.
Michael giggled of joy, it was so comfortable he could sleep in it.
Marylin smiled as she closed the door and finished putting everything in the trunk.
Once she was done, she placed the cart in the side and started the engine.
"Alrighty then, looks like we are done for now. I guess we can go home" she said as she drove off the parking lot.The drive wasn't that king, it took around 15 minutes to get back without traffic, which was good. She hated traffic, it was annoying as hell.
It took her sometime to get her, the baby and the stuff out in time without any issues. It's pretty damn difficult to do everything on her own with no one to help her out.
Baby Mike was sleeping in his car seat, so she placed him in her room and closed the door so that he wouldn't wake up.
She tried d on the tv and again, she got lost in her thoughts..A mother?... how can this be? I'm not his mom, I'm just a complete starter to him.
Wonder how he feels about me being with him. Is he even comfortable?
I have to find his mom, but I can't call the police.
If I do they might take him a way and put him on child support and-
Oh god no! I can't even imagine what will happen to him.
Maybe if I just put some fliers out and wait for someone to find him? Thy could be logical.
But what if no one, recognizes him?
Ugh! I have to stop looking at the negative side, really. She decided it was best to make those fliers. It was her only option for now. Marylin had time until baby woke up, once he does she will take him a shower and feed him.
It shouldn't be that hard to take care of a baby.Right?
To be continued...
