Waking up, eating, preparing, going.

Going, walking, hurrying.

Into the classroom, 2 minutes late.

Sitting, charging, hoping for better days.

I woke up at 6 am by the constant ringing of my alarm. Tired, as I always was. I stood up. I didn't care enough to think about what to wear. My face, however, needs to be perfect. Always.

Removing the makeup from yesterday, then primer, foundation, concealer and so on. Every spot on my face, covered up like skin was supposed to be made of porcelain. That's the name of the foundation I'm wearing, porcelain. Always.

Eating, watching, hearing.

Knowing everything was going to go perfect, I didn't worry. Never

Hurrying, seeing the teacher standing in the door talking about the essay. 2 minutes late.

The clock constant ticking, the computer starting, and people talking was all I could hear. And then, silence.

3000 words in 3 hours. Not bad.

And did I worry?

No. Never.

I slowly got off my chair and started walking out of the classroom. Everybody stared. I finished first. Always.

The sun shined brighter than ever before. I knew it would be alright. Always.

Surely, it was the best essay of my life.

I logged in to check how much the teacher would brag this time.

She would probably read it in class.

I didn't even need to log in.

My texts are perfection.

I logged in. Hurrying and waiting. Worrying? Never.

I'm the best at every subject. All A's.

This was the final deciding grade in English.

My mother came in, my little sister followed. Worried? Never.

"I wonder what the teacher brags about this time," said mom.

"Why are we even here? We know you'll get an A," said my little sister.

The telephone rang in the kitchen, mom answered. It was grandma. Everyone was excited about the best essay of my life.

Waking up, eating, and preparing is all I've done this year. I knew it would go the way I wanted it to go. Always.

Waking up, eating, preparing, and now refreshing.

"Final grade: C" it said.
