I'm cross-posting this TharnType fic from my Ao3 account to here and informing the readers in advance that updates for this fic will be super slow. This story is currently on hiatus (few chapters were already posted) and I just wanted to share this with a larger audience in hopes of reviving my interest and motivation for this work.
Coming to the major points:
1) This story is a different take on TharnType: The series with Top Type & Bottom Tharn. Few details & scenes from the show and book will be used for the purpose of Plot.
2) For those with trouble picturing Tharn as the power bottom, I'd suggest envisioning Mew's look (post weight loss) cultivated for his music career. I've also included few images to aid with that. Because in this AU, Tharn is twink af. A tall, smart-ass BAMF twink rooming with his future hubby!
3) This story will discuss dark themes relating to rape, trauma, homophobia and bullying. If you saw the show then you know what to expect. I will mention the relevant warnings in notes before the appropriate chapters, so you guys can be prepared for any triggering content.
4) It is my first time writing in first person point of view for Type's character and it will be later changed to Third person narration, which I'm more comfortable with. Also, this story will be a slow build.
5) Any rude language and slurs used as part of Type's vocabulary and beliefs do not reflect mine. I just wanted to be clear upfront on this subject. I really felt bad writing some of Type's speech targeting the wonderful LGBT community - but that is his character arc before undergoing development and cannot be helped.
6) No Beta reader. Hence any mistakes are all mine - apologies in advance for any cultural mix-ups or misinterpretations. Votes, comments and feedback are always cherished. XOXO
Oh, and the credit for the images used, Tharntype story and its characters all belong to the original owners. My immense gratitude and respect to MAME, the entire TharnType team, translators and everyone involved in making this show we all absolutely loved!!
