present: "i remember"

Your pov

I was next day and Stucker called me to the main room. "Today I need you to give the Avengers  these", he said and gave me some pills. "Do you understant, soldier?", he asked me. "Yes, understood", I said and took those pills. Then I went to cell area. Today I was alone- no other soldiers. Maybe Hydra gained my trust again.

I came in front of the door to the room. "You got this, just act natturaly emotionless", I thought and walked in.

"Hello liar", Steve said, I looked at him and Tony started to talk: "Are you gonna kill me? You know to finish your last mission!". I didn't say a word and came near the cells. First I gave each of them a glass of water and some bread. I was avoiding eye contact with everyone, but mainly with James. 

The pills were dossolved in each glass, so they didn't knew about that and drink it. I was told it was some kind of pills for sleep so they didn't talk that much. BUt one think I didn't do was there. I didn't put the pill in James's glass. I needed to talk to him but I couln't do that when everyone was awake. So James got just water. No pill. 

When they were done with drinking and eating, I took the plates and walked away. Then I came back and checked everyone's lock on the cell. When I was checking James's I looked at him and slightly nodded. I think I confused him but whatever. I wasn't sure what I was doing either. Then I walked out and locked the main door.

After a few hours

I got a break from guarding the base, so I decided to go talk to James. I was hoping everyone was asleep by now. After all it was night and they have a sleeping pills thereunto. 

I walked in. It was dark in the room. I lit up a small hand light and continued to James's cell. "Hello James", I said. He looked at me shockly. "Wait, you- you remember?", he asked me suprisingly. "Shhh, you gotta be quiet or you'll wake up others.", I said. "So do you remember or not?", he asked me and anxiously waited for me to answer. "Yes, I do dumbass. I needed to make a plan", I sarted but he interrupted me. "So they didn't brainwanish you? Why is your father calling you 'soldier' then?". "Yes, they did brainwanished me, but somehow I still remember. I know it's weird, but that's not why I'm here. I gained their trust again but attacking you so now I can get you all out of here", I explained. "Damn, you're smart. So what do I do?", he asked and I answered him. "Nothing, you stay in your cell 'till I get you out. That's all I needed to let you know, now I gotta go", I said and as I was leaving I stopped in the door and turned around "I'm suprised you'd come here for me. You know, it's not like anyone ever cared, so um...thank you", I said, slightly smiled and before he could say something I left.
