being alone isn't always that bad.☆★
sitting there yet again you aimlessly stared off into the distance, it was a daily reoccurrence for you. this time you sat there waiting for lunch to finally come along. if you were lucky enough ilsa would leave you alone this lunch and you could eat in peace. you sat there and continued to look out the window and at the other students enjoying their time outside with their friends. you liked being alone but deep down inside you wished you had friends. at least someone other than ilsa. someone you could hang out after school until the sky turned dark. you turned to the teacher because she looked like she was about to call on you but then she took a different route. that's when you saw the boy from the volleyball game, he was actually in you're class.
the lunch bell finally went off and you started to pack your bag. you took all you're belongings with you outside the classroom. it's not like you are afraid someone will take your things it's just that you fear ilsa might do something to your notes. she has a habit of stealing your notes for tests and not saying anything. you hated it, being this girl she can just pushover. you were more than that.
you quietly walked out of the classroom, you were one of the last people to be in the class. you shuffled through the clumps of people in the hallways wishing to get out of the suffocating environment. you put in some earphones and started listening to music in hopes you could drown out all the loud noises. once you reached an exit to the building you quickly left the school. you went out to a small tree in the back of the school and sat down under it. it was calming because it seemed as if no one really paid attention to that small tree you sat by. it was also entertaining to be back there because you could watch multiple people get rejected by their crushes.
in a sense it was funny, seeing the other people get shut down. but in reality you knew that you would be in their spot almost every single time. you hadn't talked to many guys before but just their personality alone you could tell they would reject you in a heartbeat.
you opened your lunch and quietly ate. the wind was blowing and it was a nice calming day. up until someone put their hands over your eyes. you knew it was ilsa, trying to ruin your only peace and quiet you get throughout the school day. "hi ilsa what do you want"
"i want you to help me find akaashi"
"i'm eating lunch right now"
"so? come on just helppppp me"
"aren't you friends with that bokuto guy, go ask him for help"
"i diiiiidddddd he said he didn't know"
once again you felt like caving in again because that meant you would get more attention from her. her attention wasn't even that nice but you needed some sort of attention in your life. you knew it was bad to keep doing what she said but you couldn't help yourself. as much as you liked being alone it got extremely lonely at times so fooling around with her sometimes wasn't that bad.
"let me finish up eating" you sighed
"yayayayaya you are the best l/n !!!!"
you sat there for a few more minutes finishing up your lunch while ilsa was looking around in hopes of seeing akaashi. she was really dead set on being with him.
"i'm ready, he is probably in my class or something"
"why didn't i think of that, i don't need your help anymore. BYE BYE L/N"
she was practically running away at this point. it's not like you wanted to go search around the school with a boy but your were pissed she made you finish up your lunch for no reason at all. you really needed to get away from her but it's hard because for someone reason she's the only person who won't ignore your presence. she has many other friends to be with but when they say no to her she turns to you. which is almost always because she can very extremely annoying.
you sat there for awhile before packing up your things and deciding to head over to your class for the rest of the day. you hoped ilsa didn't force you to go to the volley ball game again to see some random ass boy.
you walked into the class and the teacher noticed you walking in late. you thought you were on time but i guess you read the time wrong or something.
"l/n you really think we wouldn't see you sneak in"
you looked up from the ground you were currently staring at "huh" you asked in confusion
"l/n you're late, i thought you were better than this."
now the whole class was staring in your direction. anxious from all the stares you slowly made it back to your desk. they kept staring but eventually stopped to listen to the teacher. it was at that time that akaashi had remembered you from the day before. the girl who was friends with bokuto he thought.
you ignored his looks and continued to look out into the window, for the billionth time that year. you stared off into the distance for majority of the class when the teacher noticed you looking away. she had caught you near the end of class.
"l/n do we have to send you to the office or are you going to listen to my lectures"
"hm i'm listening" you really weren't but subconsciously you were taking notes and your phone was recording the lesson so you could watch it later and then update your notes.
"you're clearly not paying attention, let me see your note book if your so certain your paying attention"
that's when your teacher made their first mistake. she picked up the book and it was filled with notes from the lesson she was just teaching. a bunch of doodles along with it but you had all the class notes there. she placed the book onto your desk and made their way back up to the front of the room.
the bell had rang and it was finally time to go home and sleep. the only thing you looked forward too these days. you packed up your books into your small bag and quietly made your way out of the room not trying to advert attention to yourself. then you made it out of the halls avoiding anyone who was close to ilsa. you didn't want to see her again today so you decided to try and get away as quietly as possible. you had made it to the front of the school and the second you walked out of the school it was raining.
it wasn't like this a few minutes ago when you were looking out the window so what happened? did you maybe not realize it was raining out. you searched through your bag and found your raincoat which just happened to be in your bag. you put it on and put your bag back on your back.
the rain would be a perfect opportunity to share an umbrella with someone you liked but you didn't see anyone else outside that was willing to share with you. you then walked in the direction of you house. to your surprise the rain stopped rather quickly. it wasn't even a lot of rain to begin with, which is why you were able to walk home without getting soaked.
you entered the lonely house and walked up to your room. you changed into a more comfortable outfit and threw your open bag on the ground everything falling out as the bag hit the floor. you flopped onto your bed and decided to take a nap for the rest of night not caring about school work at all.
