Martin will no longer show his face

Martin was struggling. He couldn't think of any other word for the pure and unfiltered pain he was going through.

In classes, he sat through every word of his classmates and teachers. None of it meant anything to him. Not even one layer of his cold, dead soul cared at all about the weather of all things.

It was chilly, but he's experienced that numb coldness his entire life. There was no difference between yesterday and today. Every day was the complete same, all one single blur of sleepless nights. (this is off topic but my back hurts a lot right now i'm an old lady apparently)

As his last class continued, he plotted his great escape. He needed a nap, although he knew not even once in his life he would ever get a nap.

His lifeless lump of a brain continued sending endless signals, and eventually his facial expression became lifeless as well.

His true face at that moment became hidden, by a mask matching with his brain and soul. He was encompassed by pure emptiness.
