"What?" Alec demanded as Clary spoke. 

She blinked, looking up at Alec. "Huh?"

"You said 'he's going to kill me.' What does that mean?"

"Oh."

The two just looked at eachother for a few minutes, saying nothing. Then Izzy ran into the room. "Oh my god, Clary, you're awake!"

"Am I? I don't feel awake." The redhead grumbled. "And apparently I said someone was going to kill me."

Isabelle's eyes widened. "WHAT?"

"Woah." She flinched at the screech, reaching out her hand for Alec's. "Don't scream at me. And I don't know what it means. I don't remember what made me say that, but Alec looked concerned when I woke up so I know I said something."

"We need to find out what it means." Alec said, taking her hand with a smile. "If someone's going to try to kill Clary, we need too know now."

Izzy nodded. "I'll stay with her, Alec. Go upstairs and see if you can think of anything. And take a nap while you're up there."

Under his sister's intense glare, he grumbled and nodded, releasing Clary's hand before walking out of the Infirmary. When he was gone, Izzy looked at Clary. "How long have you had feelings for him?"
