The Start of the Ending

It's been two years since that day. I can still vividly remember everything as if it had occurred today.

I found my grandmother’s body drenched in her sticky crimson blood. She was draped over my bed, her body slowly turning blue and cold. The scene presented before me caused sadness to pull on my heart. However, not one tear slipped out of my eyes. I have seen so many things happen that nothing was worthy of my tears anymore.
The bed sunk as I sat next to her, my shaking hands clutched her lifeless body tenderly to my chest. I closed my eyes and watched my whole life play on my eyelids. A warm river race down my arms then my legs. I didn't have to open my eyes to know that it was her blood running across my skin.
“I’m sorry Gaby I know you loved her, but you have to let go of her now. Please get up, you have to continue with your life and you're destiny." My voice whispered to me.

"You know something you were wrong." I said to my voice. I had quickly got in the habit of talking to him.
“In what was I wrong my love." He ask.
"When you said that I loved my grandma you were wrong." I retorted.
“Why my love?" He inquired.
"Because I still love her." I answered him with a smile dancing upon my lips.
I heard two tiny knocks resinate off my door; it was my new maid, Emily.
"Come in Emily its open." I hollered toward the door
"Good morning miss Gabriela." She said accompanied with a deep curtsy.
"Emi, why are you calling me Gabriela? You act as if we aren't friends."
"Sorry I'm kind of mixed up today." She responded with laughter.
"Hey Emi, can you get me a bath running? I'll be ready in few minutes."
"Sure anything for you Gaby. Can I ask where you're going?" She said hesitantly.
"Thanks Emi and you can ask me anything, you know that. I'm just going to the pool."
